You just described the life of a hopeless Pisces empath. The exhaustion from trying to be a positive influence in someone’s life even for a small moment is draining for sure. I’ve realized in the past 2 years of ghosted solitude, that my purpose in life is to make other people lives just a little bit better, in whatever manner that might be. I’ve accepted that, and practice it daily, but it does take a toll a lot.

Nah, there's no point in friend zoning a person where there was once love. If a person used you, they will always use you. I gotta respectfully disagree on the “talking to” example. I think that’s an age and generational change in what is/isn’t dating or acceptable behavior. Maybe it’s all euphemisms, but I think you can be getting to know multiple people if you choose, but “talking to” in my day was the same as “going with, going out with, dating, etc.” I hate this situationship culture. So yeah, I’m hot if a friend (man or woman) tries to define what is/isn’t disloyal for ME! Good friends are going to be both honest and respectful!
