No! Monty Williams should be removed from coaching the Pistons. Remember, he decided to bench Jaden Ivey instead of Killian Hayes, and he failed to develop his team's young players properly. People keep saying Monty deserves another chance despite his questionable decision-making. I understand his team had a weak roster, but he should have tried harder to improve his players, regardless of the team's construction. If the Pistons organization decides to rehire Monty Williams, I will never watch another Pistons game. I don't understand why some people are celebrating Troy Weaver's departure when the organization still has the same incompetence in the front office. Arn Tellum, Ed Stefanski, and Tom Gores, the team owner, are setting the Pistons back. People should hope that Trajan Langdon can make positive changes with the roster, the upcoming NBA draft, and by bringing in a new coach with a strong coaching staff without interference from the people in the front office. If Trajan doesn't deliver, us Pistons fans will be in serious trouble.

I like Monty a lot, but I also think his coach of the year award had a lot of credit to CP3 being a leader and keeping the guys focused. All the suns young guys loved CP and mentioned his impact and Monty was able to then focus on the lineups and X’s and O’s. Pistons got no leader and Monty isn’t that assertive guy that’s gonna say it how it is. They need some type of veteran presence to let Monty again be a calming presence and motivator drawing up schemes

Ima be honest. I think Detroit needs to part ways with Montey Williams. My Cavs just let go of a GREAT defensive minded *rebuilding* coach who would fit the Pistons like a glove. Say what you want about J. B. Bickerstaff, but he DID drag my Cavs out of the mud and helped our young players mature offensively and defensively. Our GM Koby Altman just kept making the wrong moves and it completely screwed up the teams chemistry. If the Pistons did hire J.B. and got to a point of making the playoffs, then let him go because once the team is done rebuilding and ready to compete for a championship JB's limitations as a coach starts to show(bad rotations and non existant play making).
