They used to be drilled and tapped for a 6mm screw, but that feature was removed a couple years ago. Later the new caliper holders were released which mount to the same stud, but it is no longer threaded.

Hello Parker. We had those on all Headlift Converters from 2012 till Spring 2017. You can install a 6mm bolt into the threads in order to hang your calipers from the bolts. We're presently redesigning the stand to remove those pieces and replace them with an accessory that will be optional, so I don't believe they'll be on future stands in their current form, but here is what is presently available: www.pit-bull.com/image/catalog/product/threaded-bungs-caliper-holder-2012.jpg. The only reason it would push on the fairing is if the pin were not fully inserted. We'll take a look at the photos you are sending via email and follow up. Thanks and have a good day.

It was user-error. I did not insert the pin all the way. If you doubting if the pin is in or if the bar is touching the fairing. Just re-insert and jimmy it around until you feel it definitely go in (you will know when it happens) to the point where the bar clearly spaces itself from the front fairing. Don't be me. Don't mess up your bike's fairings. If it's still not working, then the pin is on the bar backwards. All works nicely now. See imgur.com/a/7CekY

The swivel pegs are 2" wide each and spaced apart where ideal for a wide range of bikes. They'll work on most modern bikes without the need for adjustment.
