This is a short video witch briefly talks about starting a 12 week conditioning program with Maple and Zephyr. I will update as needed. Below is the link to the horse mat. www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/pro...
Hey G-APBT, Recently subscribed to your channel from Ireland. I'm the owner of a 2 yo female DDB that I like to keep lean, trim and fit. Really enjoy your no nonsense, no BS videos. I'm getting an education on the APBT from them. I am very interested in the breed and would like to some day have my own. Looking forward to more videos.
Hello Ireland, have a few friends that are Irish and they’re good people. Thanks for watching and thanks for the encouragement. Great to hear that you are keeping your female DDB in fit condition. The Genuine APBT is like no other breed. Yeah, get as much knowledge on them as possible before getting one. They are intense about loving you but they are also intense about everything else and require a committed and involved owner. Thanks again.
She's my favourite..I've always like the white dogs and owned two..but I love this red/dark Tan with some white. I've looked at so many APBT over the last 38 years. And she's is one of the nicest dogs I've ever seen..
You have her in wonderful shape my bro ! She's gorgeous 😍 she's a little cutie having fun on it 😁😁😁 Thank you for the pointers and I am so excited your ready to commit to daily training ! Can't wait to see more and more videos on this , my absolute favourite RU-vid channel! God bless!
May the Lord continue to bless you and what you are doing. Would it be possible to share training program? I am interested nut not sure where to begin. I'd appreciate your kind response. Have a blessed weekend
Thank you for the encouraging comments. I appreciate them very much. Sorry, I can’t really share a specific program for conditioning. Every dog is different in how it takes and responds to diet, rest and exercise. On top of that, you have to train according to what the goal with the dog is. Wall climbing, pulling, confirmation and so on. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for watching and commenting. May our Lord bless you.
Maple's looking good, looking forward to their progress! 2 minutes in & she already started figuring it out! While she's still a lil goofy / if they miss the regrip, maybe secure the poles, edges of the crates & every corner in the vicinity of the mat, with safety / thick foam for padding to cushion the blow - Lo wrecked into some stuff so hard which I didn't think was even close to him, luckily only some scrapes, but it could've been worse. BTW, is that a nylacot / Syntek type tug & is durable? Does Zeph use the same 1 or a thicker 1? I had to abandon using a fire hose tug cos Lo bit too deep in to it & it was rubbing against his gums, & the jute 1 only lasted 2 mini sessions, not sure what to get that's safe & fairly durable.
Hello, have a question, my 13 year old female just passed away in my arms on the 24th of November. This my second pit bull, she was a blue. This one had a piece of my hear, not just mine, everyone in the family, out kids grew up with her, stayed home with her without us being afraid to leave them at home by themselves. Was the toughest bitch in the history of the world. Needless to say the loss is palpable. I would consider another female, this time red nose. Can you advise on the breeder? Need to make sure I do not end up with a mix breed, bully or anything else people are designing these days. Also, blue collar is not natural to pits, they suffer with itching and allergies due to this modification, hence the red nose or black would work as well. Thank you
We’ll be working with these 1. Road work 2. Flirt pole 3. Short power sprints (weighted & unweighted) 4. Spring pole 5. Slat mill And equally if not most importantly, high value raw feeding and rest.
There’s so much that goes into this but yes, the idea is to ultimately get to implementing all five in one day. It takes a few weeks to achieve that. Remember every dog is different so make an honest assessment of your dog as it progresses through the different exercises.
@@genuineapbt6690 I have a doberman and i wanna condition it like an apbt is it possible? the reason behind i dont have apbt cause my parents wont let me
You actually always want the front feet to off the ground just a few inches. The “totally air born” looks good for videos but can actually be counterproductive. Thanks for watching.
