I’m telling you, the biggest cursed position in all of sports history is the back up long snapper. When the announcer was saying that they have a backup long snapper before that extra point, I knew he was gonna fuck it up. I called it before it happened. It always happens. The backup long snapper will nail every long snap in the game, except when it matters most. I knew he was gonna blow the second one also. My Giants lost a playoff game in 03 I think because a back up long snapper fucked up the snap. I’ve seen it happen many times throughout my life watching football.

Someone needs to call NFL Films, add this game into their lineup, and give it the subtitle "High End Talent: The Movie". I didn't truly become a football fan until 2008-09, but this game finally taught and demonstrated to me how Rex Grossman got to play in a Superbowl in February 2007.

It's a shame the game didn't end in a tie. This felt like one of those games that deserved that honor.
