PITY!!! Palestinians Pray the First Ramadan Tarawih Prayer in the Ruins of a Mosque Without Lights.
Ramadan is supposed to bring joy but this does not apply to the people of Gaza. They have to spend Ramadan full of fear and are haunted by attacks carried out by the Israeli army.
Even so, they still carry out their obligations as Muslims. Even though the mosque there has been destroyed, dozens of Palestinians in Gaza continue to perform tarawih prayers on the first day of Ramadan.
Sadly, they had to pray behind the ruins of a mosque in dire conditions. There is no lighting, they only use the light from the remaining vehicles to provide alternative lighting there.
The lights on the side of the road which were previously used to illuminate the streets are no longer there during the fasting month.
