@@dogthievery101 you guys or idiots actors have agents and the agent would not have ever allowed him to do any work ESPECIALLY FOR Disney without getting paid
Most kids in the industry are incredibly smart and talented for their age. I do film work and sometimes work with 4, 5 and 6 year Olds and these kids I swear are smarter then I was at 13.
They almost made a huge mistake by rejecting him. His voice acting is one of my favorite things about the movie. For someone so young he did so well. And they didn't just shove in some big ticket celebrity like they normally would.
They could have given hime the Hollywood treatment. (Still use his voice for miguel but only paying him as the scratch voice actror) but glad they decided to not destroy the dreams of a 9 year old kid
They took advantage of him by using him for two years instead of putting him in the cast and paying him full salary for his work, that’s very wicked of them 😡
The interview clips were likely taken years after the film released. If you look at the clips when he’s recording, he appears much younger than when he’s interviewing.
There is a huge scandal going on too. Basically the great grandma got their inspiration from an actual Grandma from a family in Mexico. They just saw her whole traveling to Mexico, took a quick photo, and left. The whole family is pretty much upset because they didn't get paid or anything for that inspiration. Which btw the grandma didn't give consent either.
That’s fair, but the actions of one irresponsible person on the team shouldn’t sink this movie with hundreds of team members all putting their best foot forward
They must not understand that in The United States, you can take a photo of whatever tf you want and the credits literally disclaim similarities to real persons.
@@GiuseppeGaetanoSabatelli all similarities to people live dead and non existent are "coincidental" Uses literal peoples likeness in looks, voice, and personality...
@@chrisdanks741 if they just took a picture of some old lady in passing, how do you know they copied her personality, voice, etc?.. sounds like a reach on your part.
What I don't understand is why people feel so entitled when someone else uses there idea as inspiration for a new idea. I heard the creator of dwarf fortress hates Minecraft because he thinks its a rip off of his game. When in reality his game may have unique gameplay mechanics, but the whole idea is taken from old school Rougelike games. A new spin on an old idea. A "ripoff". (I'm a nerd lol, sorry if that doesn't resonate with yall.) All artists steal. George Lucas and Star Wars. Quentin Tarantino and his movies. All painters and musicians steal inspiration from other artists. But its not really stealing if its inspiration and your putting a new twist on it. Thats how creativity works, you get and idea based off something else and your make something new. A lot of times when you watch a movie or read a book that sucks its because the writer is either making a generic copy of something else because hes not creative enough to brainstorm his own ideas or hes trying to make something "original" without taking inspiration from similar works because "he doesn't want to be influenced by other works". Either way it turns out half baked. You need to know how something works before you build something. If you want it to work nice you need to understand what components to use and what not to use. Now, I know that doesn't exactly pertain to the above comment, those are just my thoughts on creativity. In the case of using a picture of someone's likeness to create a character... I do not believe the lady who had her picture taken is owed anything. I personally believe corporations have too much control over copyrights and regulations should be loosened a bit in the name of creative freedom. Mostly when it comes to video game modding and computer software. And creating online videos and fan art. I forget which game company owns this copyright but someone owns the right to using mini games in loading menus. You just cant do it. Imagine how fun it would be to play games while your game is loading instead of blankly staring at the screen? Someone owns the copyright. I don't know, just bored, felt like ranting. Sorry if you wasted the time reading that I don't really have a strong argument to make lol.
@@gissneric No, We’re talking positively about puss in boots the last wish specifically because it’s new duh. And we’re rooting for it because it came in a time where agendas are being spread unto movies non-stop, In puss in boots there are no agendas whatsoever yet it’s still fun.
Long story short, the movie was six years in production and their original voice for Miguel ended up hitting puberty and they couldn’t use him for the roll anymore. So they ended up casting Gonzalez for the main roll. The original voice of Miguel can be heard in the movie towards the climax, when De La Cruz is running away from the Riveras, one of the stage directors says something along the lines of “Senor La Cruz, you’re on in 3 minutes!” Or something like that.
@@ramengurung9913 I believe there were actually a few interviews regarding it, but I’ve heard it multiple times over some amount of years from different sources and sites and viewings.
the thing I learned is kids are very smart if you let them do things on there own. My sisters son was acted like a typical 5 year old when he was 5, but his younger bother is way more mature and he is 5 because the older bother treats him like equal so both of them are as smart as each other. it's because he parents are sometimes over protective with children, so we treat them like little kids and it's understandable but everyone should remember kids are smart.
I was watching this video and then my neighbour came and we watched it together. He said that this video changed his life and touched his heart. I then went and rented a projector in a big field and all my villagers watched it and it changed their lives too. We all are so grateful. Thank You for this video….
