I am Apple all the way. My ex partner had a pixel and he hated how slow it was . So that’s why I chose Apple because I didn’t have to buy a brand specific case and accessories.
I just picked up the Pixel 6a on Cyber Monday deal for $99. I've been carrying my trusty 2nd Gen iPhone SE and so far im really enjoying the this Pixel. Coming from my other 60hz phones like my iPhone 8 plus and 2nd Gen SE, this Pixel 6a on Android 14 feels really smooth to me.
I agree 💯 I got the 4 right after it came out and I was a Nexus user before the pixel line and man the 4 was the smartest smoothest phone I ever had and the camera was amazing I want the 6 but I didn't get it because I wasn't sure about the new chip so I'm gonna get the 5 I think and wait a year or 2 let them work out the new chip first
Awesome video as always!! Would love to see more videos on the Pixel 6a, like a comparison of the Pixel 6a with the Iphone SE 2022 and the Samsung Galaxy S21FE
Definitely would like to see a full review of the Pixel 6a. I have been looking for something to use as a home phone for Doctor calls and appointments to stop with so many calls on my cellphone.
Well, I have to correct myself. I do have iphone 14 plus, but bought the 6a on swappa for 220, hell of a deal. The 6a is very easy to use for any ios user. a real nice phone.
Hey Aaron, since you use both android and iOS regularly, I have a couple questions for you as someone with special accessibility needs: 1, how does Android's screen magnifier compare to the iOS zoom feature, does android even have a full screen zoom like feature these days? 2, how is the screen reader support? These are the two main reasons I haven't tried android over iOS yet, because no one has been able to give me solid answers that made me confident in trying android. I would like to though, as I like Google products. The other question I have is, how do the Google phones compare to the iPhone as far as Wifi 6 speeds? The android phones usually can take advantage of the 160Mhz channel width while Apple still locks their devices to 80Mhz max. You also mentioned the pixel supporting 6E, how does that work for you? Any real difference over WiFi 6? Thanks for the work you put into these videos. Have a great day!
@@zollotech Thank you, would appreciate it. That's the main reason, I haven't tried more platforms outside of Apple because the accessibility concerns, but on a technical level, I'd love to try different platforms to see what's out there.
Wow...I think Pixel is literally the best Android phone out there in the market! Although I like Apple more, the pixel looks so much like iPhone from the outside, the unboxing, the sticker, the aluminum body Just amazing😍🥳
Just switched to the Pixel 6a from the iPhone 13 and I'm loving it. Haptics are way better than any other smartphone and Android 13 is smooth. Although, I miss iOS drag and drop...
@@AndyDarkKnight I'm using same adaptor I bought for iPhone. I gave the iPhone 13 without an adapter. Cuz I decided to use the adapter. As it has Type C on the other end.
Hi I love your video thanks for your amazing videos you are a gift to RU-vid I wish I was using a good phone my phone can't even screen shot well cool video as always
Personally I think the pixel 6a is better value than the iPhone SE 3. Just seems like a good phone for the price. In the uk the pixel 6a starts at 399 compared to 419 for the iPhone SE
I figured I would save that for the review, but all OLED displays have it. Pixels generally don't bother me, but it will take a few days to know for sure.
hey aaron 2 questions, can u do another "Re visit of pixel 6a" video? and 2nd, a general q , that transfer phone to phone, can it be done with any phone to phone and is that a type c to type c cable?
Thanks for the vid. I tried a few Pixel cell devices but was dissatisfied with them and support was also highly dissatisfactory and helped persuade me to try Apple products for the first time ever
Just a heads up; Google is offering $300 trade in for several phones, specifically for the 6A. Just traded in my Pixel 4a for $300. Plus free google ear buds ($99 value). That’s $149 (pre tax) for the 6A. Couldn’t pass it up. Peace.
Right I always say the perfect size is 5.7 and with a big screen to body ratio it's perfect for one hand use anything over 6 it's to big I had the small pixel 4 and it was the perfect phone
It's a good choice in the market to see its price only 450dollars better than iphone se and iphone 11 and 12 series it's cameras better than iphone 13 pro max
Tech Twitter is mad that this phone has a 60Hz display instead of 120Hz when the Pixel 6 has a 90Hz display and this phone is being widely compared to the standard iPhone 13.
It's priced at ₹44k that's $551 USD in India.. Decent phone for it's price but India is price sensitive market and launching phone above 500 USD for 60hz is big no... As u can get 120hz oled at 400 USD
Is Pixel 6/6pro/6A getting heat so fast ? Even just watching RU-vid ? My 4A turned off due to heat when taking some pict outside. I lost a lot of moment and good view that time. 😥😥
I dont think the USB C cable works directly with devices other than pixel , found in most reviews that it will need the adapter to connect the old cable for transferring data to the new pixel , ex: OnePlus device to Pixel!
Looking at the future and commenting, it looks a lot like the iPhone in the future, but there is no camera in the display part, but it is mounted inside the display, the call part will be done with an AirPods series, and simple things will happen with the Apple Watch. The iPhone will only be used as a console, as a game, or video viewing. 2022.07.23
$3 worth of wireless charging on google's part and I would have bought this phone just to keep my hand in and replace my pixel 4 xl which will be aged out this year.
I got a Pixel 6. Returned it within a week. Absolutely awful IMO. Can't imagine the 'a' designation makes it much better. The worst Android phone I ever had.
