I got a couple of those amoeba looking air pockets, that resisted evacuation from pressure. Not wanting to redo the whole procedure with another screen protector, I lifted it gently and slowly, just a single milimeter so as not to break the glass film. When the air pocket was gone, I gently laying it back down SLOWLY as to not create another pocket. Ended with no air pockets. Hopefully, the glass protector will resist shattering from every day use. Thank you for the video.
Wow! Great information! Thank you for that tip. I will definitely keep that in mind and to pass along on my next screen protector install video. Appreciate it!
@@eSIMstudios Thanks eSIM. I just received my Pixel 8 Pro and set it up yesterday. Being new and all, I didn't want to see the amoeba everytime I looked at the screen LOL.
Straight after laying donw the glass, you should swipe from top to borrom down the middle to initiate the adhesion. Adhesion will then occur from the middle outwards and you won't get the type of air pocket seen in this video.
I know! You are 100% correct. That's why I kinda hate recording it. I usually apply one for my videos and then I'll go back and do it for myself where I can really get it good. Appreciate the view.
Trust me... Stay away from White Dome. That screen protector is an overpriced product. My current screen protector, the one you see in the video is going super strong, hulk strong. Looks brand new, like i just installed it. No fingerprint issues at all or touch issues. The best one I've tested and used.
ok with a hot blow drier that women use to dry their hair... at a safe distance of 10-12 inches blow hot air on the screen back and forth moving the hot air across the entire screen for 3-5 minutes and lightly massage the screen protector onto the display of the device. Should help some. The hot air activates the adhesive. remember to move the hot air back and forth. Don't leave the hot air blowing in one spot the entire time.
I got some today took me 3 tired to get it perfect lol but only one time for the camera lol and mine was off cats lol hair lol ordering more next pay to lol and I no how to fix halo ring around the screen protector to now
@@eSIMstudiosI've had issues with these too. Maybe just got a bad set but they Crack super super easy. Went through them all within a month and a half. But, they were super easy to install and looked great while they were good.
