Great review, as you said, for the price point you want it do more, better multitasking, more customization. Weird how they still don't have AOD wallpaper, even apple has it 😳

Yeah, it is odd that they only go with AOD outlines of their clock and it shows notification but no actual wallpaper. That may be due to them knowing that their chip wouldn't handle it well and it would eat battery.

I had the same bumps on mine. Got another one, and it developed the same kind of deformation. Every P9PF I’ve seen on RU-vid or handled in person has the same lumps and dimples. Whether it’s a characteristic, an issue, or a defective production batch, only time will tell if it will lead to display failure.

@@edvar18 That's good to know. I'm still going to send it back and see how Google treats it. Just to see if they see it as an issue and repairs it or if they decide to send it back without repair. I'm just curious at this point.

@@RomeReviewsTech I got in touch with them via chat, and at first, the representative insisted it was due to dust getting inside, so I wouldn't be covered by warranty. After I explained the situation and sent plenty of pictures showing the issue, I was told to get a replacement from the retailer where I purchased it. Since I had a pre-order unit arriving, I just waited for it, but it developed the same lumps after just a few minutes of folding and unfolding. I returned the second unit and got insurance for mine.

@@edvar18 yeah they questioned me a lot as well and asked for pictures. I purchased mine directly from the online Google store. So after a bunch of questions and pictures, they told me to send it in for repair. I feel like they put you through a lot even if you are still within the return/warranty period.
