I've ordered the Obsidian Black 250GB 9 ProXL, arriving on 22nd Matt. I felt sorry for the guy who was live and had to demonstrate 3 times, poor guy ❤😊
ive always been a budget flagship type of guy but for the furst time in a decade im upgrading to a major flagship headliner in the pixel 9 pro xl and im super exited. My current phone is coming up on 5+ years old and was only $500 dollars on relase. Tmobile is giving me the 256 picel xl for $999. Lets see if ill be solidified as a future member of the pixel family or if after a couple years ill return to the old faithful startup budget flagship companies that ive been so reliant on like oneplus and nothing.
2 months ago i switched from pixel 7 pro to iphone 15 pro. Considering switching back to Pixel when 9 is available for purchase. Not really impressed with Iphone, to be honest.
@@cloudiiofficial7562Apple intelligence gonna cost money and only be available to 10% of the world. Meh I would switch to a company who actually loves their legacy devices😌😊
It's potentially a *GREAT* phone, but hopefully the new Android 14 will actually work reasonably well, given the issues older versions of Android on the Pixel phones users have complained about.
After watching the Gemini AI features. I do hope Apple can live up to compete because I was blown away by the AI features as well as the Photo AI abilities. I can’t move over to Android because I am too deep in the Apple hole. I will be getting the 16 Pro Max next month. Fingers crossed Apple has something up there sleeve. Because at the moment Gemini is walking all over Apple Intelligence.
Im done with apple after 15 years lol ill switch to the pixel 9 pro xl to see the experience. Not buying the 16 that has nothing new, apple intelligence is not even in Europe before 2025 it’s just a joke. Steve jobs would be so mad at what apple became
I've used Gemini on my galaxy zflip 5 for unofficial therapy for health problems. I decided to bite the bullet and buy the 9 pro xl cause Gemini has been very helpful for my well being.
I was going for the IPhone 15 Pro Max but will hold out for the 16 now! The closer the IPhones get to ‘cinema camera’ capabilities the more excited I get!😅
Hi @MattTalkTech :) Thanks for the videos and updates, really like them and keep up the good work! I was a die-hard Android fan for all my life but am now switching over to iPhone for the first time in September with the iPhone 16 release. The well integrated ecosystem won me over eventually... Really looking forward to the new iPhone 16 Pro Max! It would be amazing to start that adventure with an iPad next to it ;) Great initiative from your side!
Ive always been with Andriod, specifically The Pixel and I probably wouldnt switch to iOS ever. Just because, so many people with Apple talk bad about Andriod and tell why apple is better. So I would prefer getting the new Pixel over the iPhone. Btw this was a amazing comparison
Pixel 9 Pro offers a faster processor, improved ultrawide camera, brighter display, longer battery life, and enhanced durability compared to Pixel 8 Pro. However, main and telephoto cameras remain similar. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is my choice. I love a mobile device with good screen real-estate. The specs are great for all three mobile devices.
I dont think doing bench marks reallly shows yhe actual usage, there is some serious upgrages on optimisation for the pixel 9 pros. The new snapdragon chips are failing on heavy multi task usage but the pixel and iphone complete and are on par with each other. With tje pixel potentisly performing slightly better in some aspects
✨ I’m really hoping that in 2024, Apple will release the iPhone 16 and the AirPods Max 2. I would be thrilled to see the new features and improvements these devices could bring. As a fan of the Bowers & Wilkins PX8 headphones, I’m also excited to see what new models they might introduce in the future.✨
It does not win by any chance! Shitty processor U have to PAY for the ai which could work on any other phone made out of a cheaper material unreliable laggy in a few months trust me 😊
pixels tensor chips are and have been a solid 4th - 5th place among SOC’s since they came out. The ai might be attractive if google hadn’t already lost the game to the ai apple is using- chatgpt. In terms of displays they’re no longer ahead in refresh and 3000 nits is more obnoxious than it is truly useful. The cameras are one thing you do have to give google but clipping people into a pic they weren’t in is essentially ruining the point of a photo being taken. Althewhile apples A series chips have been either first or second (only really competing with snapdragons selection) saying the pixel is better is kinda laughable. The galaxy , arguable. But the pixel? Yeah idk about that
@@TheChos3nOnewhile apples chips are more powerful. They are overkill for a phone. Only a tiny amount of people use the chip to its full potential. It’s like having a 6 litre engine in a Ford fiesta. That said, my 12 pro max is going strong. However, my son’s pixel 6a is also still going strong. Chips in phones have been overkill for a long time. Time will tell, let’s see how my move to pixel goes. 😅. The pixel certainly looks nicer. Need some reviews to come out though before I get one.
I’m making the switch from 15 plus, I got the Pixel Pro XL 512gb for $999 that’s the start out price for the smaller pro 128gb. I can’t wait for it to arrive on the 22nd.
I really wanted to get the new pixel, but I’ve seen some video recording comparisons and the pixel just doesn’t record as smoothly as the iPhone can. Once pixel can get smooth video recording I will switch.
Is it Google Pixel 9 pro worth to buy or not for atleast 4-5 yrs. Please recommend or shall I go for samsung or apple with latest phones.. Please suggest thanks...
The Pixel 9 Pro is most likely a very good phone but I would wait for reviews and see what reviewers say about battery life and performance. Samsung and Apple are definitely safer and more consistent options though.
Pixel 5 here. Phone sucks ass but apple's layout and the fact that you get a 128g phone with only 10g available to the user straight out the box sucks even more.
Man...I'm still using my iPhone 12 Pro because not much has changed for iPhone since 2020. I'm getting tired of the UI but I'm stuck in the ecosystem, albeit with aging devices as well. Macbook Pro is from 2019, iPad Pro [aka my glorified streaming devices] is from 2020. Maybe it's time to move on.
The problem with this Google Pixel is that it uses Samsung's Exynos chip, which has been rebranded as the Tensor chip, instead of a Snapdragon processor. Probably they want to get this cheap chip for higher profit.pls get rid off that Samsung rubbishy Exynos

@@Peeeeeew There is a significant difference in performance and power stability, which is crucial for flagship devices with high price tags. Even Samsung recognizes that their own chips fall short in this regard, leading them to use Snapdragon processors in all their flagship models.
@@Peeeeeew Even my son noticed a difference during extended gameplay. The standby battery drain is significantly worse compared to Snapdragon processors, as I’ve observed.
Tbh I have 14 Pro Max but android ecosystem is very solid too (mainly Samsung), Samsung ecosystem is very good probably as good as Apple’s or even better if you use Samsung smart furnitures and stuff because they also make great laptops, phones etc, they use windows on laptops but Microsoft and Samsung has an agreement the only problem with Samsung is their tables, which are very great for regular consumers but lacks that M series processor power that iPad has but even then iPad Pros are kinda pointless for most people since you can just buy MacBook Pro at that price
These AI capabilities are the greatest equaliser, much like a nation with 500 nukes is just as dangerous as the one with 5000 nukes, only a handful needs the to land a country is gone. With AI, phones will do more with less making over powered phones unnecessary.
Everybody knows Apple do more with less numbers on spec sheets and Apple would always thrash the completion when it comes to processor and ram management and in almost everything else 👍👍
But if you compare it to the Pixel, the performance difference is 2x than the price… The apple A17 Pro is so much powerful as compare to the poor Tensor G4… 😂
Bro, you're comparing last years iPhone to this years Pixel phone. You have to compare phones from the same year. Just like how this year's iPhone can only be compared to the S24 Ultra and Pixel 9 PRO/XL.
Indeed you are right and it is why I said in the video about 3 times that I will also need to compare the iPhone 16 Pro Max when that comes out. But a 15 Pro Max is all we have got at the time of making this video, so this is what is being compared.
I don't think this comparison primarily aims to get a winner between the two phones. Ultimately, this comparison is aimed at showing people which one they might want to get between the best iphone available and the best pixel available.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max is LAST YEARS Apple technology. It's not comparable to a Pixel or Samsung phone that has been released in 2024. This video doesn't make any sense at all. It's like making a video about the IPhone 15 being better than the Pixel 3. Like, really?. There not comparable.
Eh. Differences between the phone are so miniscule though. Phones nowadays have such good specs and good cameras in real world use it's really hard to tell them from each other speed wise. All phones in general are just really good nowadays. So little differences like a few pixels are a slightly quicker processor isn't something you're going to notice in daily use. It all comes down to personal preference which OS and ecosystem you prefer. Honestly all new flagships are awesome phones.
If you actually watched this video, as I guess you have just ran to the comments to moan instead to try and make a point.... I said 3 times in this video, I will compare the iPhone 16 Pro Max to the Pixel 9 Pro XL when the 16 Pro Max comes out. But for the moment we only have an iPhone 15 Pro Max to compare to. The iPhone 15 models are what Apple are promoting everywhere at the time of making this video. So this is the latest iPhone I can compare to at the moment.
