I have the oneplus open, its a fantastic phone. I couldnt imagine carrying something heavy like the Pixel Fold. Theres hardly any crease, battery is great and 65 watt (US) fast charging is awesome. Cameras work relatively well, but other phone is the 15 Pro Max so im a bit picky, but for a foldable phone this is leaps and bounds better than my former foldables.
@@random_vlogger_thamizh6505 I can't say that I've experienced that. I took my family to a Christmas show at night and we tried taking photos with my wife's 15 Pro, they came out too dark so we used my OnePlus Open, the photos were so vibrant and clear that her parents were just blown away.

One plus is good but i preferred the pixel after having both, that camera hump is bad on one plus and i just preferred the form factor and feel of the pixel that kept bringing me back. Both are great in their own ways
So glad I got the Pixel fold. I don't know what it is with the reviewers on RU-vid but most of them I think have been paid to slate this phone. I've only good things to say about it. It does fold flat with a little push and with that the crease is gone the software is the best software out there that includes boring iOS,5 years of os updates not as much as the 8 series but a fantastic five is what he usually get with an iPhone and to be fair people like me don't have the phones for very long. Anyway, I imagine I will have the pixel fold 2 next year if they bring one out
I like the Open pictures better because it's not that typical smartphone ugly mess ( oversharpened, saturation over the top etc), the puctures are very natural looking
4:50 are you sure that you use 32mp for 6x (double of optical 3x zoom)? It should be 16mp (no more than that). Hint: both dimensions are divided by 2. So, it should 4 times less than original 64mp => 16mp.
I have the one plus open and as much as i believe the pixels pics are probably better i still believe the open has some wonderful cameras and in the right conditions you can take some amazing shots on it. I have managed to grab some great ones of my 2 year old daughter 😄👍 great vid btw
I have the OnePlus Open because I thought it would be a better choice overall between that and the Pixel Fold. I think I made the correct choice because the pixel relies on Google's computational photography algorithms while the OnePlus actually relies on a photographer's eye in pro mode. Computational photography is great for point and shoot but the OnePlus portrait mode and ability to adjust the shutter on the fly makes it a better choice for the truly artistic. Pixel makes good digital pics for Instagram but OnePlus makes art. I'm sure if in some shots you chose to adjust the shutter or use portrait or even used action mode where the OnePlus takes a composite of a series of birth shots to create a great HDR final product, you'd see that the OnePlus does produce nicer more cinematic photos. My friends are amazed by the photos that I take of them especially in portrait mode. They are simply blown away by sunset pictures where I might adjust the the iso just a little and create a fantastic shot. I used to have the LGV60 so I'm used to 64mp pro mode shooting. Pixel will always be a great point and shoot picture because it's competing with the point and shoot mentality of iPhone users. OnePlus thinks like Hasselblad does ... Like actual photographers.
You may as well buy a Sony Xperia then if your going straight photography mode then, unfortunately for actual photographers, this weird Instagram, x, tic tok, fb, world we are in now, it's dying out like the headphone jack, Bluetooth is way better than it was previously and people are fine with that, computational photography is way better, and now with this AI stuff on the rise it's basically a done deal considering what you can do on post processing with a photo and video now is ridiculous, but I will say that the hardware that they are putting in these small devices is incredible to say the least.
You must be a tech nerd or own the OnePlus open talking about bezels when you still see them on tablets, rather have that than a hole punch in a screen all day, in which hole punches have been around for basically 6 years now also, you wanna clown something but yet they haven't mastered under display tech yet... You wanna be tech nerds trip me out.
@@superiortoall22 yes, the phone is too expensive no matter the SoC. $1800 (US) / €1900 (EU) is too high even for a foldible phone with Snapdragon. Real price is around 1400 € / $ for these devices.
I have installed Gcam on my oneplus open and the night time photography is far better than the stock camera app..Also if you are into editing Gcam takes better RAW images
Pay attention man and get your video corrected the camera shutter button is orange not red and the video shutter button is red not orange on the OnePlus open
The images from the pixel looked better. Even the image of the cat could be debated. It looked clearer on the Open, but I think the cats color on the pixel was more true to life. I finally saw the pixel in person yesterday. It has the cleanest hinge design of any foldable and despite the numbers it looked slimmer than the Open.
Totally disagree. The Open is objectively better engineered fold design. Much lighter, much less pronounced folding mark in the center of the screen, folds perfectly flat, much more ergonomic design (the fold is too wide and uncomfortable to handle), is much snapier/faster (better SoC) and even the software is better than google with tons of nice multi tasking features. Sorry, only the fold camera is a bit better in some corner cases. Anything else Oneplus is objectively better
@@pwmaudio the great thing is that's why they are different and it's ok to be, me personally I prefer the pixel fold over it and like the design better as well as the OS, the weight doesn't bother me at all, but to others it might, that's why I'm glad that they are different every won't like the same thing and that's "ok" to like something different than others, this is what I call the greatness of android, all devices are not the same 👍🏾👍🏾
Neither phone isn't worth it. Why, these are first generation phones. Wait after several generations & perhaps it'll be lower in price, have better specs & material.
