People didn’t like Pixels because they don’t like Adam Sandler. Also because they didn’t think this movie was funny. I thought it was funny. Sure it's not the funniest or most well done out of all Sandler's films but I enjoyed it all things considered. It's not great but it's at the very least a decent comedy. I for one actually love Adam Sandler and think he's actually funny and talented. It's just that a lot of his films over the years have been either hits or misses. Mostly misses for a lot of people. The reason being because the comedy in his films tends to be the same and he doesn't try as hard as he has in the past.
Know why this song is so awesome? Because it is the PERFECT boss fight song. Imagine, if you will, while you listen to the song: the Hero has been beaten within an inch of his life by the Villain, who has contemptuously turned his back on the Hero to leave him to die. The Hero is down... but not out. Something snaps. Through sheer force of will, the Hero gets to his feet, ready for Round 2. The Villian turns back around, is surprised to see the Hero up, and starts advancing to finish the job...AND THE HERO DELIVERS THE MOST EPIC OF CURB STOMPING BEATDOWNS THAT THE VILLAIN WILL EVER KNOW.
No matter how many times you slap me to snap me out of it, this song just brings me back to the movie, ITSELF! Because, no matter how hard you try, this nostalgia, WILL ALWAYS ROCK YOU!
I don't care anybody who hates this movie for so many reasons, I still say this movie was great enough as I enjoyed it! Much more I liked the actors, musics, graphics, storyline, and the nostalgia of the good ol' 80's games...
+zoniken no offense to those loving modern games but the original arcade games were totally badass i played donkey kong on the donkey kong 64 game and sucked at it but it still doesn't change the fact i loved it, the current generation of games have no rhyme or reason these you HAVE TO concentrate to win and if you didn't you lost had to give up another quarter there was no reset button only 3 lives
Saw this movie on a 16 hour flight across the globe. It was really a good Adam Sandler movie considering the garbage he's been releasing throughout the 21st century.
Buddy, you're a boy, make a big noise Playing in the street, gonna be a big man someday You got mud on your face, you big disgrace Kicking your can all over the place, singin' We will, we will rock you We will, we will rock you Buddy, you're a young man, hard man Shouting in the street, gonna take on the world someday You got blood on your face, you big disgrace Waving your banner all over the place We will, we will rock you, sing it! We will, we will rock you, yeah Buddy, you're an old man, poor man Pleading with your eyes, gonna get you some peace someday You got mud on your face, big disgrace Somebody better put you back into your place, do it! We will, we will rock you, yeah, yeah, come on We will, we will rock you, alright, louder! We will, we will rock you, one more time We will, we will rock you Yeah Traducir al español
I don't claim myself to be a fan of Happy Madison productions, or Adam Sandler in general for that matter; but there's one thing I have to give them credit for: Their remix of Queen's classic is GLORIOUS!
+joinmarch76 Technically it was remixed by Helmut Vonlichten, a composer that founded the music group Les Friction and worked on E.S. Posthumus. I highly recommend their music if you like this style
This version of the song "We Will Rock You" hits too hard, I love it, it sounds so powerful, in the movie it went very well with the scenes especially in which the pixel enemies corner the 3 characters outside while the main characters were fighting against Donkey Kong, my respects to the one who made this version of the song.
This adds the extra oomph that I feel may have been missing in the original song. The original felt like all bark and no bite. Like it was leading to something big, but never delivers on that. Skipping over the supposed beat down straight to “We are the champions” as if they won is a bit anticlimactic. This is much different. Instead of leading up to a beat down, this IS the beat down. A heroic and triumphant number. Making the next song feel a bit more earned. This could really be put over any scene where the hero goes “beast mode” on the villain. That’s when this plays. Their sh*t is wrecked in fabulous fashion.
I actually really do like this movie and they should make another one with more new video game characters as enemies,I had so many chills when pac man and donkey kong came on the screen but this song is untouchable
Whether you like Pixels or not, you cant deny this film is epic af I got the same epic rush from this scene as i did Harry duelling Voldemort in the graveyard, and Anakin fighting Obi Wan on Mustafar
Eh to say that I am Spanish and I am using a translator, so I only think that THIS IS THE BOMB!!!! FOR ME ONE OF THE BEST SOUNDRACKS OF ALL, every day I hear it at least once until I dreamed about it xd
This song suits tragic danger lurking about and the herowork to solve it. I'll add it to Time Shift as debris falls and a battle ensues within the chase.
