Physicist and Author Sky Nelson-Isaacs urges us to see the world differently and consider how pixels and patterns converge to evoke a new perspective. Sky Nelson-Isaacs is a physicist, speaker, musician and author. Nelson-Isaacs is interested in the physics of complex systems and how they relate to the larger universe. Discovering an early fascination with holograms and some of the most fundamental questions in physics, he has sought for over two decades to establish a connection between synchronicity and physics using rigorous research methodology. His most recent publication Quantum Reports generalizes some aspects of quantum mechanics with a holistic model of space and time. He seeks to better understand how consciousness and the observer effect impact the way we experience reality. He is the author of Living in Flow: The Science of Synchronicity and How Your Choices Shape Your World and Leap to Wholeness, which is an exploration of how our filters shape our reality. Nelson-Isaacs is also a multi-instrumentalist and professional performer of award-winning original musical compositions. In 2019 he founded the Synchronicity Institute to continue research and training on the science of wholeness, synchronicity, and flow. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

I had the pleasure of being Sky's student back in 2003 (Physics class!) and I can assure you that he is in fact a great teacher! In addition he has been a mentor, an inspiration and a role model for me over the years even though I live half a world away. It fills me with joy seeing him on such a platform since I truly believe that's where he belongs!

Sky--so wonderful to see you! That was such a marvelous presentation! It was so moving! I love the The old train story! And I loved how you said that taking out one part changes the relationship to the other parts actually leaving nothing the same. And how the rainbow is poignant from what is NOT there. You are amazing! So lovely to "see"you on a Ted talk!

This point of light (pol) is deLighted to be able to be present with you Sky, and all the other pols, that with your special and unique perspectives, are experiencing 'relationship' and connection with one another, and with the mysterious Scheme O' Things that is ever ready to bless us, once we have a mind, and heart free to let It. What a marvelous role model you are. Loved the divine timing tale, and really, is there any other kind of timing, lol?

Great job, Sky! Here is an e-mail I wrote and sent you today: Mon 3/25/2024 8:37 AM Hi Sky, Great Ted Talk. And on the stage at Berkeley, your alma mater! I remember when you came to Coeur d'Alene to present at the Unity church, and you had borrowed my son's guitar and we met at Bakery by the Lake when you returned it to me, and you sat down at the piano and played spontaneously, seemingly. I recall stories, if I remember correctly, that you were visiting your mother here, and you and your (daughter? sister?) were skiing on a frozen lake in this area? Memories are patterns, and sometimes they are not 100% accurate, but still useful. This is my warm fuzzy memory of a brief time with you that still echos with pixels and vibrations that form patterns ... This relatively short physical time here in these bodies are precious. I had open heart surgery here on 2/1/24, and I'm grateful for my new heart valve and the miracle of the current medical technology that discovered the birth defect I had, and the talent and technology of my current treatment providers that had answers to challenges that may have killed my ancestors (I have a grandfather that I never met who died of a "heart failure" at age 62 - I am age 68 now). I asked my doctor: "Will I be able to play the violin again?", and he was on his toes with his response: "Well, could you play it before?" (not since the 3rd grade). Then I asked: "Will I be able to finish my second book?" and he said: "Have you finished your first one?" I have published "Family Hunger - Breathe Life Into Your Family History", and I'm working on "Chasing Headstones - How To Transition Into Retirement and Into the Ground - Or, How to Avoid Both". (The first one's available on Amazon.) I still have work to do, and it appears that you do also! Keep it up, Sky! Todd
