Why is Storytelling so powerful? And how do we use it to our advantage? Presentations expert David JP Phillips shares key neurological findings on storytelling and with the help of his own stories, induces in us the release of four neurotransmitters of his choice. Learn more in this 2nd TEDxStockholm talk of David's.
David JP Phillips is an international speaker, author and coach in Modern Presentation Skills. His training and material are based on neuroscience and biology which makes his deliveries very hands on, practical and motivational. He is best known for his seminar How To Avoid Death By PowerPoint, delivered at TEDxStockholm in 2015.

The way this talk has been designed, it categorizes in the brain very easily. Dividing the talk into 3 pointers really helps us to understand and recall as well. This is the best talk I ever heard in my recent time.

Absolutely amazing. Never in my life ever I found myself more resonated to a TED Talk than this. I never really knew about David before so this has been a great discovery for me. The method that he mentioned of jotting down stories and then indexing them to decide the right time for a right story seems so effective to me. An excellent idea. For sure gonna do that. There is a wonderful connection here with the University of Canberra's approach to "indigenizing its curriculum". One of the ways certain Indigenous Nations teach and learn, and create knowledge, is through exactly this - storytelling. Bravo to Monsieur Phillips for an informative and entertaining presentation.
