I poke around the website to show you "where to find some things" and I also do a little live coding demonstration to introduce the structure and concepts common to PixiJS projects.
Pretty good video. it was very informative. Question? I went to the docs, and the docs mentioned that not only could you make web based games but also desktop games using Pixi.js and electron.js Have you ever used Pixi.js with Election.js for Desktop games? I would rather use JavaScript since I feel comfortable with this language. I am not a real developer but more of a hobbyist who has been using JavaScript for close to 2 years now. Silly question: To host a web-based game, I would need to pay for a monthly hosting provider for my game? Unless there are sights, who would host your game for you for a very reasonable price? Unless I make a desktop game where you wouldn't have to worry about this? I'm just curious. I will Google for solutions if not, and thank you once again. Lastly, if you are considering desktop games maybe Pixi isn't the right choice? How good is it for Desktop?
