I feel that PIXY's Call Me was a complete 180 switch up from the past couple of songs I've checked out. Not only was it different, but it was a great one. They did not shy away from embracing a different concept that ended up looking natural to them.

Quick about me:
My real name is Tad, but DonKawaii/Don was simply an IGN name I created so I kinda just rolled with it. Lol. You can call me either one. I am also a teacher, and I teach people dance. Normally, I teach my students dance through sharing my own choreography, giving people drills or exercises to build foundation and technique, or share my own philosophy. and I've been dancing for 15 years mainly growing up through Hip Hop dance culture, but have also taken inspiration from other dance artforms such as ballet, jazz, and tap. And how I got into K-Pop was because the main three groups, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, and SNSD. That followed with other things hallyu like korean dramas, variety shows, and the rest is history.

What a pleasant surprise to see you react to this! Ella with the shortest hair and the hat is the eldest, born in 1998, the rest were born between 2001 and 2003. I'd say this is by far their lightest song, but their b-sides are definitely a touch lighter than the title tracks (while no less great!) While there's no major choreo go speak of, their individual covers definitely demonstrate a lot of range: Ella with God is a Woman, Dia with Tango (she's the one who hit the high note here BTW), Satbyeol (Chun Li buns!) with a dual cover of IU's Ah Puh and Changmo's BAND, and Dajeong (youngest in the red sweater) with a cover of Avril Lavigne's Complicated and Sk8r Boi. Lola (the tallest one) has a predebut dance cover of Bubblegum by Jason Derulo and they all did a predebut dance cover of EXO's Overdose. Finally, the sister video to Call Me is an 8 minute medley where they take turns singing actual Christmas songs in the same outfits. Simple and really lovely look at their vocals and non-dancing stage personas. Whether on your own time or on camera, it's all really enjoyable! Thanks again for the reaction, Pixy is a great group. One of the biggest and best surprises of the year imo

Several of the members were a part of cute concept groups before they joined PIXY, like Ella who was in Cherry Bullet. They are also very cutesy outside of stage, so I think this might be more their natural selves (maybe with a few exceptions).

The first one you pointed out that suit the concept is Ella, but if you see their cover of exo overdose she become another person. I guess she is good with expression

This is a song that keeps you smiling all the way through to the end and then wanting to listen to it all over again. I love these girls.

Fun fact: Not too long ago the group mentioned in an interview that they really liked their dark concept but they also wanted to try a cute concept. Boom, here it is. Fun fact #2: As most of us know, the girls really liked Bewitched and they really wanted it to be the title track for their Temptation album. All Art had already chosen Addicted to be the title, but they compromised and also listed Bewitched as a second title track. All Art also seems to be spending some real money on our girls. The MV for Bewitched, which could have been your average performance MV, was really a full production, high quality MV, albeit a bit stripped down. All Art is really spoiling our girls and I love it. And yes, I'm with you on the pink filter. I wish they hadn't done that. All I could think of was that they looked like pink aliens from Guardians of the Galaxy. Everything else was perfect.

This group is really something special. Their discography so far, throug a couple of EPs and singles has been really great. I like the dance practice for this song waaaay better than the preformance video. I don't think I've come across anyone who likes the pink filter yet. lol All the pink filter does for me is makes me think that a very obtuse male wanted to be sure the video screamed "girly". I love that the company let them do this though! They are throwing money at these girls for good reason. I think you'll enjoy the versatility of the b-sides. :)
