A lot of songs and sfx in undertale and deltarune are samples from other games, one such is earthbound. Examples are the melody for ghost fight against napstablook and the distortion guitar from megalovania.
Lmao i just thought of the fun gang entering a Ice's Pizza themed dark world and Jevil immediatly gets super excited about the pizza and leaves Kris's pocket to forcebly become the main villain on the chapter
Oh my God, I was expecting Pizza Tower in Undertale Style, but this is just as good!! But what if, Undertale style was for Pizza Tower, and Deltarune Style was for Sugary Spire? Just a thought I had lol, great music tho!
I just thought, Imagine a mod where after defeating Omega Flowey or Sans (depending on which route you take) would make you have to go back to the starting room where you fell down and there being a ladder where you can escape, with a lap 2

when peppino crashes into the dark world because the noise is goofy and kicked him into the broom closet, then peppino starts ramming into enemies + fun gang and lancer, destroying the dark world in the process, before facing off against chaos kings mech where jevil takes over afterwards
I genuinely think that they either tried and failed to get toby fox to make this music and or they really were inspired because the two game ost's sound very similar. I think it might be the latter more though because the games OST is basically confirmed to be partially based off of Sonic CD to an extent (Especially when samples are used often, you will be hearing something that is from Sonic CD)
Just learned about pizza tower when I made this comment, no it was inspired entirely by wario land 4 and sonic CD with I believe some sonic rush samples as well like in crust cove
Well mr sauceman and toby fox is like worked with eachother in the past when they were making a soundtrack for homestuck so basically sauceman perfectly knows Toby's style on the soundtrack so he did captured it pretty well when making pizza time
if peppino and the fun gang got into a fight, peppino would win because the fun gang fight by taking turns but peppino just sprints around and beats up anything in his way
Would'nt it be funny if you are getting 100% in deltarune pacifist and all of a sudden at the end instead of the regular ending you hear this start to play and have to get the hell out of there and grab everyone else while escaping?

Imagine if you have done everything in the field, like y'know Cyber World and Field of Hopes or whatever [It's been a while since I've played Deltarune. You had to escape the area before it crumbles.
If this whas in deltarune it woud play in a moment a tower or place is faling down apart and you have to escape and wen in fight you must alert the enemy to escape if you want the pacifist route
