@@isp5056 Yeah, funny enough I didn’t piece that together until about two seconds before this reply. I was too busy jamming to the music beforehand and hallucinating spinning Ronald wheels. Hopefully this confirms that there are in-universe Pizzahead commercials which are JUST as wild as those old Ronald ones.

I’d imagine Ronald was a substantial influence in Pizzahead’s whole deal, being a charismatic yet slightly unhinged mascot for some corporate slop food.
Actually,this is his phase 3 attack.thus was scrapped because according to the developers,they wanted pizza head to stay in his goofy clown look and not a raged fellow.he is in rage.
I don't know if it's the stiffness of pizza face's animations or the hp bars being literal red rectangle over gray rectangle, but this feels like it's something you'd find on scratch
in one of his attacks where he brings out a ton of forknights, you can he that he tries to pick up the sword that activates the knight transformation, but he's not worthy so he doesn't transform
Feels like Pizzahead was meant to be serious about crushing Peppino at some point, instead of just trolling around no matter what. The final game still has the Pizza Boy icon in the file select getting angrier and angrier as Peppino makes progress.
@@Falling_Down Apperantly Mr Pig Removed it because he didn't like that it messed with Pizza Head's "Goofy" nature...though personally I hope he adds that Phase in a update for "hard mode"
@@PelinalWhitestrake36 Making the cut phase 3 into a phase 4. Pizza Head gets up like he does at the end of Phase 2, but then he looks around, sees that his Pizza Tower has been destroyed, and just loses it.
EVERYTHING has a tiny bit of touhou DNA in it. i've said this before and i'll say it again - touhou is an integral part of human society. you don't realize it at first; you can't, you are unenlightened. but once you pull on one thread, so too do all the others unravel, and the truths of the universe reveal themselves to you, and you come to realize, it all comes back to touhou
I wish they kept the insane Pizzahead at the end, I love the boss rush that we got in the final game but I wish that Pizza Head entered the insane state during the end of the boss rush, feel like it would’ve been better.

While I do agree that Pizza Head on the third phase was a bit of a disappointment, there would also be no reason for him to go absolute psycho. There’s no way Peppino is a threat to him because while Peppino own this one little shop, Pizza Head owns an entire enterprise. Pizza Head just wanted to assert his power on Peppino because he thought it was funny. Plain and simple. The whole time he takes things as a joke, which I think is an iconic mile stone of his personality. Some theorize there was never a laser in the first place, and it was all just a joke. Plus, I think they show Pizza Head unhinged anyway without actually having to show it. Throughout the whole time, he’s basically making a man who already has anxiety have a mental breakdown, and he does heinous cloning experiments, and with the way, the Tower works and is designed it can only come for the mind of a crazy person such as Pizza Head. Plus the TVs in the background of the second phase already indicate his mental state. The fact that he’s doing all of this and just chuckles away treating it like ha ha funnies, clearly indicates that he’s already off the chain. I think they just should’ve made the third phase attacks, more intense….. but not make Pizza Head unhinged. (sorry for writing a novel, but I have to defend my boy here)
My only caveat is that it didn't use one of the versions of Ronald McDonald Insanity with better pitch, but ey McPig rolls with the classics. The spamming of the leg kick at the end begs the question of how much was actually completed with the original last phase before it got switched out, or if it was just playing out as a desperation attack at that point.
My question is why Pizzahead is so big here. I know this was just a placeholder/WIP fight so not everything would be super accurate but daaaaamnn bros so tall here

I have to be honest, I think that pizza, heads main boss fight is difficult and fits his personality perfectly. However, if you’re talking about phase 3, I completely agree there !

I wouldn't know, since I did not record this footage myself. But if I had to guess, it was probably edited in. Definitely a placeholder if it was actually in though. However, as far as I know, Pizzahead's design was actually based on Ronald McDonald, so that explains the music choice.
You cannot, this fight is not in the Steam Build or any old Patron Build at all. This footage was taken in a closed beta Playtest Build which only a few people had access to, and these builds are not currently planned to be published right now.
I never said this WAS from the steam build, but just to be clear, are you talking about one of the patreon builds you can download off of archive? Or some other build?
No, I am talking about the Playtest Builds that only few specific people had access to, and there is currently no intention for these builds to be published right now.
