When I picked up Fake Peppino, I was like "oh god, do we HAVE to?"

I love the ending screen with all the characters as the tower falls, it really encapsulates their personalities perfectly. Peppino is just finally taking a breather as Gustavo continues to be an absolute bro and gives him a pat on the back, Brick and Fake Peppino are just vibing, Pepperman looks on in disappointment as the tower (and all his art) is reduced to rubble, Vigilante is unimpressed, The Noise is just enjoying the destruction, and of course Mr. Stick is seemingly STILL trying to wring more money out of poor Peppino.

I don't know if this is already said before, but I like the fact peppino rescues every boss too. Even after everything that happened. I like a wholesome ending like this.

I like how the get out sign in floor five works both ways

I have no idea why, but everytime I play this level hear that song, "Bye Bye There", I can't help but imagine an offscreen audience celebrating and cheering at Peppino as he escapes. Shouting stuff like "GO PEPPINO!!! GO!!!", "YOU DID IT!!!, "WAY TO GO MAN!!!", "YAY PEPPINO!!!", "YOU WON!!!", "YOU ROCK PEPPINO!!!", "YOU ARE AWESOME!!!". Stuff like that. This escape sequence and that song alone are all the celebration you need for triumphing against PizzaFace and the Pizza Tower itself. No musical number or dances, no "congratulations" screen text, no "happily ever after", just a race to the exit with your abilities at their best after successfully overcoming the tower and its dangers and mastering Peppino's abilities while having a song that hypes you up as you run blasting into your ears. It's beautiful.

*THE CRUMBLING TOWER OF PIZZA* Now it's REALLY the end. Gather up your allies and enemies (but mostly enemies) as you make one last mad dash through the *entire tower* to get out before the whole thing comes down on your head.

I imagine each of the characters has their own reason for Following Peppino out of the tower aside from the obvious 'The Strong Shepard the Weak' trope: Gustavo and Brick - We're in this together, Lets-a go! Mr.Stick - Can't spend the money if you're dead! Fake Peppino - Mimicking Peppino's Urgency to get out of Dodge. The Noise - Trying to take this opportunity to Finish the 'Italian Pizza Man' Vigilante - Does what Rambling Lawmen do, Rambling on (Maybe wants to make Peace with Peppino) Pepperman - Was already Almost out, Think you're following him! Gerome - Needs to Honor His Brother John and I believe actually quite likes Peppino.

I love it when a level combines everything you’ve learned throughout the game.

i love “bye bye, there!” it’s such a fun track for this escape sequence. like a semi-orchestral break that leads into an it’s pizza time theme callback into breakcore drum font??? huh??? plus the building “it’s pizza time!” motif is so damn cool.

When I finally got a P rank on this stage I noticed that none of the cast was following me and it was kinda depressing. Having the cast follow you makes this level so much enjoyable.

Do you guys think all the Toppins you collected throughout the game escape too? I’d imagine so, even if we don’t get to see them. Now I’m imagining a fucking GINORMOUS group of sentient mushrooms and cheese getting jobs at Wendy’s or Peppino’s Pizzaria or something for minimum wage after the whole Pizza Tower incident. XD

I really like the finale of this game. You went up to stop the maniac from destroying your pizzeria, and after that you knock over the final pillar that holds the entire tower itself. As you rush out to the exit where it is all the way down, witnessing the chaos you’ve unfold: The background showing the tower collapsing, going from one room to another, enemies from previous rooms found all over the place, and the gimmick of each level all present there. This is certainly the best finale they’ve come up with. And I see it as a achievement!

I like how you gather together the bosses as you run through this level, and they get out safe and sound with you before the tower collapses. They were under Pizzaface’s control, either as servants of him or as hired guns, and you liberated them.

I'd like to extend a big thanks for your P rank videos. I've used them extensively as a way to locate secrets and route for P ranks. Not to mention they got me into Pizza Tower in the first place! I really appreciate all the work you put into this. Thanks so much!

Gustavo and Brick just look like they're following since they're all buddies anyway and need to get out Mr. Stick looks like he's just following the one guy with money Fake Peppino looks like he joined because there was nothing better to do while the tower was crumbling The Noise looks like he joined just because it looked like a party The Vigilante looks like he's swallowed his pride and just wants to get out alive Pepperman is freaking out that his only home and art gallery is crumbling apart, but isn't gonna stick around to be apart of the wreckage Gerome just seems to think he's following you just on any other ordinary maintenance job, just this one a bit more severe.

It's sad that at the beggining you can see Pillar John crumbling like usual in the background, but h is SMILING and thumbs upping you, that was the best outcome he knew

That decrepit, almost dead looking Pillar John kinda got under my skin All the others at most were annoyed looking and did the average WAAAAGH face when you take em out, but this one is just completely motionless as you whack him out of the way

I noticed that as peppino goes down the floor each boss starts following him too escape too like they don't know the layout of the tower and decided too follow peppino

at this point everytime crayola enters a level in pizza tower, the game should recognize that its them and give them a P rank automatically

You actually missed a character, his name is snooty, he is a overworld green cheese slime that spawns near the entrance to the slums, in order to get the snooty approved mark on your save file you must rescue him during the crumbling tower of pizza, assuming you didn’t accidentally kill him that is.

For anyone wondering about why S/P rank is displayed before the score that's displayed is at or above the level's score requirement, points from an active combo contribute to the total before the points are tallied, even when said tally doesn't occur until exiting the level. E..g., this level's S/P rank score requirement is 5,500, but Crayola reached P rank at 3,100 points (3:30). The 2,400 "missing" points were calculated using the value of the active combo, which was 80 at time of P rank and 83 by time of completion (4:04).

if there's one thing i hate about this final escape, its the fact you have to do MORE GODDAMN GOLF

god some of the actions up to and including breaking the metal block before the weenie mount are on beat to the music. this game rules.

I swear, after playing this game from start to finish, running through the collapsing tower and enjoying the last hurrah of every single cool level mechanic and enemy in the game is just... It brings me to actual tears. I have a legitimately hard time not getting choked up because it's the perfect encapsulation of Peppino's journey from start to finish, threaded all the way back out in the most heartwarming and deeply satisfying fashion imaginable. No game has done an honest-to-goodness "victory lap" quite like Pizza Tower, and I have a feeling that it'll be a LONG time before we have a game reward the player so thoroughly for their efforts in one final masterstroke of a level. Well done, Tour De Pizza. Holy crap. Your game makes me cry, and I mean that in the best possible way.
