I knew at the time she was different and something special. What I wasnt prepared for is how fresh it all still sounds and she sounds better now than before. That rangly, loose jangly note strumming is so evocative ❤

She is one of the rare musicians who every true music fan totally respects and appreciates.

She is pure rock star. I'm not even a die hard fan, but when ever I see her or listen to her music, it's a moving transcendent experience.

I first heard "Rid of Me" many years ago, working in a restaurant. I walked in the kitchen, one of the chefs was playing her. I was floored, "who is this?". The rest is history. I adore her.

I's Love This; The relentless repetitive drone of the bass, the contrast of black & white with a splash of red thrown in, the sexy fall of PJs voice at the end of each line, the daimante studded stilettos, the minimalist clothing of trau & tasselled jacket with nothing else, the way PJ prances around, the way she looks a little like Iggy. It's classic PJ Harvey at her best. I love it!

More genuine rock in her pinkie than most of these wannabe rock bands of today. The guitars bigger than her as she is kicking its ass. Love it amazing album.
