Who's here because of the perfect playback of Jonathan Bynoe ? I just discover Yebba because of him and I'm so happy ! Her voice is like an angel that's here to protect you. ❤
The way that they riff behind PJ while staying one harmonized voice and match his vibrato is SO incredible. They need so much more credit for how good they are!
Amazing. Yebba is wonderful but please also note that PJ Morton was incredible. Amazing singing from him but what may be missed is all the harmonic work and excellence in his playing and arrangement. He’s doing a lot of brilliant work here that isn’t necessarily up front and obvious to see, but is essential to how beautiful this all sounds. Respect to everybody. 👏🏾
For all those asking, Yebba (Abbey Smith) was born in 1995 and hails from West Memphis, Arkansas. All that soul comes from somewhere lol. She is featured on various other artist's such as Chance the Rapper and Sam Smith. Here's to hearing more of her voice in the future.
PJ Morton downplays everything about himself, he let's others shine....heart of gold I tell you. This song is beautiful and timeless. It's meant to be for generations to come. They can sing these people with all they have around them. 2024 Here we come how deep is your love...
I am not surprised to hear a Bee Gees' song transformed to something else great because the Bee Gees made fantastic music and had harmony second to none. Great music stands the test of time.
@@avisnubia definitely, definitely disagree-- the BeeGees produced harmonically beauteous masterpieces, along with pushing musical production with their techniques-- come on now, give credit.
Fan base and consumers is why. Look how big Kirk Franklin is but if you put him side by side with someone like Jay Z, 50 or Nas Kirks numbers are much smaller. Talent level or achievements are similar though
Yebba is the queen of build! Always starts with a soft approach and slowly digs in more and more. Def worth checking out some of her solo stuff. “Evergreen” and “My Mind” are phenomenal 🔥
I love how at the end Yebba stood back and let the backing vocalists finish off. Her humility at not outshining the musicians she's with and knowing when to hold back and when to shell the track down is incredible. She did it on Best Part Of Me with Ed Sheeran too.
I have never heard of Yebba and this is a shame. She is unbelievable. Omg, her voice is spectacular. Adele, Amy Winehouse, and Tina Marie all rolled into one woman.❤
"you're the light in my deepest darkest hour yeah yeah, you're my Savior when I fall. And you may not think that I care for you, when you know deep down inside, I REALLY DO..." THANKS FOR MAKING ME CRY YEBBA!!!!
Can we just thank the Gibb brothers for writing such a beautiful song and PJ Morton thanks for such a beautiful arrangement. And thank you Yebba and background singers for singing so beautifully.
When i first heard that song i was at my school hall waiting for my teacher to come, and i was so mesmerized by the song, i couldn't stop looking at my phone screen with a big and silly smile on my face and my jaw dropped XD when the teacher finally showed up, she had to take my headphones off to get my attention XDD i didn't even notice she was there.
Krystal Savage it took me straight in. I was crying for real for real. There is an anointing starting at 2:21. Don’t know what it is. But take me into a worship.
Charlie Moon her name is Abbey Smith and she is the absolute truth! If you haven’t heard her song “my mind” yet you are doing yourself a huge disservice. Go find anything she sings and prepare to be blown away!
From 1:17 when Yebba starts singing, I slick stops breathing.. *catches breath* ..then this REDICULOUS run at 1:46....*clutches chest.. passes out again*.... THIS is madness.... the best kind EVER!
When i heard, "I believe in you". I literally got hit with an extra boost of confidence. That's going to carry me through the next year of hard work and dedication to building my business. This woman's beautiful voice just gave me that much support. God bless her.
Wow she literally gave me the craziest tingle goosebumps while singing that part. Her voice is incredible!!!!! Dang near made a tear come out my eyes. Lol
Verse 1] I know your eyes in the morning sun I feel you touch me in the pouring rain And the moment that you wander far from me I wanna feel you in my arms again And you come to me on a summer breeze Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave [Pre-Chorus] And it's me you need to show How deep is your love? [Chorus] How deep is your love? How deep is your love? I really need to learn 'Cause we're livin' in a world of fools Breaking us down, when they all should let us be We belong to you and me [Verse 2] I believe in you, you know the door to my very soul You're the light I'm my deepest darkest hour You're my savior when I fall And you may not think that I care for you When you know down inside that I really do [Pre-Chorus] And it's me you need to show How deep is your love? [Chorus] How deep is your love? How deep is your love? I really need to learn 'Cause we're livin' in a world of fools Breaking us down, when they all should let us be We belong to you and me How deep is your love? How deep is your love? I really need to learn 'Cause we're livin' in a world of fools Breaking us down, when they all should let us be We belong to you and me
The Bee Gees are greatly underappreciated. They had about three different careers. It always starts with the songwriters, and they were great writers. There is also a very special and distinct sound from brothers, including the Bee Gees, the Beach Boys and the Everlys.
I know your eyes in the morning sun I feel you touch me in the pouring rain And the moment that you wander far from me I wanna feel you in my arms again And you come to me on a summer breeze Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave And it's me you need to show How deep is your love? How deep is your love? How deep is your love? I really mean to learn 'Cause we're living in a world of fools Breaking us down when they all should let us be We belong to you and me I believe in you You know the door to my very soul You're the light in my deepest, darkest hour You're my savior when I fall And you may not think I care for you When you know down inside that I really do And it's me you need to show How deep is your love? How deep is your love? How deep is your love? I really mean to learn 'Cause we're living in a world of fools Breaking us down when they all should let us be We belong to you and me Na-na-na-na-na Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na Na-na-na-na-na-na-na And you come to me on a summer breeze Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave And it's me you need to show How deep is your love? How deep is your love? How deep is your love? I really mean to learn 'Cause we're living in a world of fools Breaking us down when they all should let us be We belong to you and me (na-na-na-na-na)
I grew up hearing this song, to a point where I knew every inflection, tone and pitch. I thought this was one of those songs you should never cover...well, I was proved wrong. Thanks Yebba & PJ, for doing this song justice! ❤🎶🎶✌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Jesus Christ healed me! This is my story about my healing!I was extremely ill! I had diabetes and kidney failure, which urgently requires dialysis! I prayed to God to heal me, not for me, because I don't deserve it, but for my little children, who were left without a mother! in exactly that day, in which I prayed, the Lord healed me! I suddenly felt the pain in my kidneys go away, as well as the dryness in my mouth (diabetes). I'm a new women now! I thank the Lord for His mercy and love for us!!!!!!
Absolute talent! Massive shout out from a 57 year old woman from bonnie Scotland. Soul music has helped me through alot of very tough times starting with Northern Soul from age of 11 then my heart was opened up to the wide range of beautiful singers from the world of Soul. Thank you for your help. X
