Pk School: How To 1 Tick Anything 

Im going to be completely honest. You have explained the combo method the best anyone else ever has so far on youtube. Every other guide is completely disregarding the fact that the people watching these usually dont even know the steps on what to click when and where to click it and you did exactly what i was needing to understand comboing. At 9:18 . The reason is due to runescapes sprint mechanic allowing for 2 units in 1 tick. So your character can move those 2 units and attack the unit ahead. But to move 3 units it would need 2 ticks. 1 tick for the first 2. Then 1 tick for the final unit. This is why attacking with 3 units of space and 4 units of space causes for the same delay

Bro, I just started playing osrs within the last year, after quitting back in 2008. And this video really helped me get in the groove of everything. Even the simplicity of lining up the weapons on the spec bar...just...meta. I'm about 6 months in, and already maxed magic, range, strength, and hp. Green logged a few bosses. Now I'm taking down grand master combat tasks 1 at a time.

The reason you can instantly attack when 2 squares away is because when you are running you actually run every other square. If you turn on true tile indicator on runelite you can see this.

The two squares of separation melee distance is because your player can literally move 1 square per game tick if you’re walking, and 2 squares per game tick if you’re running (might actually be 3, but I think it’s 2). So if you have 2 squares of separation, and you’re running, you melee instantly.

9:20 when you run you character skips a tile. So when you are three tiles away and attack the enemy you skip the tile In between altogether as if you were already adjacent to them. This is why you can instantly attack them from that distance because you character skips the gap and just attacks and moves back. It’s the same concept as trap walking. 11:58 I’d say this is generally good advice but if anyone is playing lms they are better off understanding the rest periods and distance because their only other spec weapon is also melee and you do t want you opponent praying against your spec.

Honestly is the most important part of the pvp if u know how to the last possible game tick, u are in a god mode and can easily kill anyone.

Brilliant with the actual mechanics! But this video leaves me with a lot of questions. Why do we need an intermediate weapon before the next weapon? What's the actual reason? "If your primary weapon does not have a spec bar, switch to an intermediate weapon to turn on spec, then go to the next weapon and spec." You never describe why the special attack is necessary. I feel confused. Dude your video, recording, and audio is awesome. However, I left pretty frustrated because you explain the actual clicking mechanics without any context. It was like watching a video on Math where the teacher just tells you to write down numbers, instead of explaining the who, what, where, when, how. This is just a valuable suggestion from one RU-vidr teacher to the next. The best teachers always do the following: 1) Introduce to the people what you're about to teach them. 2) Teach them what you said you would teach them. 3) Explain to them what you taught them. I feel like if you had explained: 1. What one-ticking does, 2. What the requirements for it is. 3. How does special attack fit in with one-ticking. 4. Can you one-tick without special attack. 5. What is an intermediary weapon. ... etc. This video would have been PEREFECT. Instead of assuming the people know what you're talking about (they don't. this is a video about 1-tick because people don't know what it is), just pretend they know nothing about it. Best case scenario. Thanks bro!

Tip: right click your spec weapon the f key to your spec bar and you will have the option to switch weapons while in spec bar

Can you do a video on the different gmaul instas? Like a MSB Insta vs. no arrow, plus using it before and after any other other spec weapon, and whether or not you have to click your opponent after you spec or not

very nice guide. But are we supposed to click g maul and spec when msb is back to the body? Because my g maul is usualy visable for a split second before speccing, doesnt matter how fast i click it.

how does knifes to ballista to gmaul insta work based on their own weapon ticks. knifes is a 2 tick wep on rapid, do u switch to bally after waiting 1.2 seconds (2ticks) from knifes as the knife is thrown then just gmauling if its good drop? would u have to be within tick distance as bally shoots or u can step in on the same tick as the bally shoots in order to insta stack

I practiced what I could in my PoH with combat dummy and spec pool. Downside to that is you have to manual click each MSB. I also used duel arena with an alt when I wanted to try with attacks on auto. Doesn't fix my constant missclicks though :).
