Sup Kaphotics! I have a question, are these instructions in the video the same for ORAS? I was quite confused at the point where you mention after opening the save in advanced mode what we have to do between that step and actually moving the save to pkhex. Please help =[
Can you give me a link as to where I can buy the 3ds cartridge reader? I already downloaded the two files and it saaid it couldn't read the cartridge or something (cause I don't know how to connect the cartridge to my pc any other way)
I know this is an older video.. but do you need Save Editor to mess with the Poke Puffs, Items, Trainer Info, etc stuff? I open PKHeX but t doesn't allow me to click them to change anything.
So I been looking online, and I see a Cyber gadget Save editor 2. I found out it comes with everything except the disc to install the program. But I got the program through Project pokemon (Thank you by the way). Can still purchase the saves editor 2 since I installed the program already?
There's a problem here. You need to get the Pokedex for Pokemon Bank to read the cartridge, so if you just want to inject Pokemon and you're looking to avoid importing a Japanese 3DS, you need to buy a Japanese cartridge that doesn't have its save deleted. How do I do that? Am I supposed to contact the seller and tell them to start up a new save? Used cartridges generally have their saves deleted.

If it fails to be read by bank, then it was deleted. if it fails to be read by cyber save editor, it was never used. Pretty sure someone posted one at ProjectPokemon.
+Kaphotics does CYBER Save Editor and the cart reader work on a 3DS with USA as the region? In your video you mentioned "a Japanese 3DS is needed because Japanese games are region locked" but in your description you mentioned "You don't need a Japanese 3DS if you only want to inject Pokemon". Just wanted to make sure it works on a US 3DS. Have you tested this out? I just want the Pokemon. Items not needed.
Sorry if this has been answered but how is your game in English when this only works with Japanese versions of the game. Also can this be used to load the save from one cart onto another?
So Kaphotics, did you simply buy a Japanese 3DS and Pokemon game, start a new game in English, then used your software to hack? Is that all you need. Just Japanese 3DS, game, and the reader? Where can I buy these? Ebay or is the reader sold on a specific site?

Antar1011 AES Encryption can't be brute forced. Datel and Cyber Gadget presumably have hijacked the 3DS to use the AES engine as the keys are write only.
Kaphotics, is it possible to edit the powersave so it hooks up to the Cyber save server? (BTW its actually a tunnler, the save goes in one side, and comes out the other, and they don't do the decrypted save file thing cause they dunno how to send it) so it has all the Cyber save codes from the cyber save server, or edit our DNS so it hooks up to a custom 3DS farm with custom codes like volcanion and stuff?
I actually beg to differ there is a place the back ups are stored and power saves is almost the same thing the program just needs more modding to fix it I'm actually thinking of looking into a way to take the back ups and run them through there decryption then load the save repair and then put it back as a backup on power saves (the powersaves program is very weak and ve
yeah, it doesn't use keys, if it did, it would be easy, and you just have to go to task manager and hit "DUMP' on powersaves, then go into a hex editor (Preferably "HxD") and open it in the hex editor, and open "find" search "CTR-P-EKJA" and under it should be your key, but if CTR-P-EKJA shows up more than once, your key is corrupt, and if know how, you can use your key to decrypt your save, and you could also use it to sign your save, making it insertable, but atm its a work in proggress, making a program compatible with powersaves dongle, and you can use it to decrypt your save, then choose where you save it, then open it it in PKHeX, get volcanion and the reinsert save blahblahblah

There's a bug telling a Gliscor that has HA in an apricorn ball is illegal which isn't. Gligar in an apricorn ball from Johto>BW/B2W2>Poketransporter and an HA Gligar from XY or BW/B2W2 when bred in Gen 6 results into some Gligar with HAs on that apricorn ball its parents inherited from.
Can't I just get the Gadget + Pokemon X or Y Japan Import far enough to access pokebank and i can use a North American 3DS for it by transferring the "hackmons" through pokebank?
I need help my game won't read with the original program, but it will read on the modded one, but it doesen't do anything when it tries to read my save data. The cartridge is from japan and has LNA-CTR-EK2J-JPN on the front is there any way to fix this?
After I replaced the "main" file and injected the save back into my game I get the message "Could not find saved data from Pokèmon X or Pokèmon Y in the system." A little help please? did I do something wrong? Before I did that the game worked find with PokeBank.
Hey I have the R4i Save Dongle which is the european version of the CyberSave I cannot read .sav files though. Does someone know how I can change my X and Y file with 6th gen Pokemon with PkHex or something else ? Thank you

My game is a hard copy. I have the SD card in my computer via USB. I have the location of the 3DS files. I can't find the files to drag into the program, which/where would be the location of Pokemon X
I was able to do this method perfectly, then they have recently updated Cyber Save. Do you know a new method that allows you to replace the file on the cart? because it no longer does the "operation paused" thing when i click the same buttons and i always end up with the same file i started with. wouldn't it also be possible to use bank+JPN game combo since you can just dump the pokemon trapped in the JPN catridge into bank, given you reached the part of the game where you can do that. Or just Gateway to make the JPN game playable.

No, they don't. It's just the company choosing what cartridges to allow. They could allow EU/US carts to use the device any time they wanted, but they won't, since this is a Japanese product
Okay, I'm stuck. I live in Japan, so buying a Japanese X version was very easy for me to do. Here is my problem. I checked the data on the X version and the previous owner put in about 169 hours through the store's own 3DS system, as I do not have the money to buy a Jap 3DS. I moved all BOX 1 pokemon to another box. Now, when I open PKHex, I go to file>open, and their is no save data. Why is that?

You coould buy a used copy that has already been played. You wouldn't be able to play it but you would be able to injection pokemon which you can send to Bank since it is region free.

Can someone help me please? I tried using Cyber Editor for first time. Because I dont own a japanese 3DS I used pokebank to send few pokemon I wanted to "edit". I followed the instructions but now I cant use pokebank with my japanese copy of pokemon y (I was able to do it before) I tried changing the hex values to the original but still nothing (I changed the fisrt one of the second line, it was 05 I changed it to 04, tried with 00 and with 05 again and nothing) *****
If Cyber Save Editor is currently only available for Japanese versions of the game and 3DS, how come it seemed to work on your (clearly) English language version game?
IniKepi I see. But you'll still need a Japanese version of the games only in order for it all to work? I'd be new to this whole Pokegen process, that's why I ask.
Absol Ruby sorry i have no experience with this myself, just found about this yesterday. but i did successfull pokegen event pokemons. such as mew and lugia with hidden ability whatch toydualer pokegen tutorial. it was easier to understand
You do NOT need a Japanese 3DS. Pokebank is NOT region locked! Dump the hackmons in the Japanese game cartridge and then pokebank them into your english game.
