Trying to decide which of those lifts are best for my Dad, who just turned 99. He has gotten to where he can't stand on most days, but every once in a while, he stands briefly. Need the most comfortable lift for him mainly to be used bed to chair, and back to bed. Right now I have old carpet. Bought a used Tag-A-Long Manuel Transfer lift. I see the problem with that one, cause when he feels lifeless-like, it's hard for him to even stay in upright position, plus the lift won't go high enough to get him off the bed good. I made it work. The sling with Tag-A-Long was uncomfortable in the legs too. Your recommendation would be appreciated. Oh, and his bedroom is small, so I am thinking the portable one is best.
Would it be possible to transfer the patient to a car or van? How high can I raise the patient? I just bought this lift and I am just wondering. Still, have not received it, just was wondering.
We received ours today, was looking for a portable lift to be able to take our adult son out more. This is much heavier then expected. not sure I will be able to manage this one.
I called yesterday and left a message for Bestcare to call me back. Nobody returned my call. I just called again today and all I got is the voicemail again. Can the PL400EF be raised to the same height as the PL350CT? The video on PL350CT shows it can raise patient to a great height above the floor but the video on PL400EF doesn't demonstrate how high up the patient can be raised. Also what is the difference between the PL350CT & PL400EF?
Because PL350CT and PL400EF use different type of slings, PL350CT can raise users higher than PL400EF. PL350CT uses a cradle clip sling that is able to transfer users from cars as well as beds, wheelchairs, floors, toilets, etc. PL400EF uses strap slings that is good to transfer users from beds, wheelchairs, floors, toilets, etc.
@@BestcareLLC I bought the lift around 2 months ago but came with the wrong size of a sling, a medium instead of a small one. My daughter is around 4 feet 11 inches and only weighs 85 pounds. Midwestern Medical Supply who sold me the lift has told me your company No longer carries the small sling?? The lift has been under the bed without me being able to use it. What other sling can I purchase so I can finally use this? I was supposed to get a credit for the wrong sling, but that has not happened either to this day. So disappointed.
