Which of the two did you find more difficult, and did you find that they required different study approaches? Thank you for all of the useful information you provide here in your channel!
Hi Dee! I actually thought I would fail both, but I passed both and did better on Plab2 score wise. They do require slightly different approaches since like I mentioned here, NCA is at F1 level and Plab2 is at F2 level.
Hey Hopeful Hope, Im in between 2 decisions. 1 Do the PLAB1,2 and the CSA or 2 Do an intern outside of uk and then do the Plab 1 and 2. My main concern is that I can do the CSA but as it is only offered only once a year it is quite a risk to fail and do it again only in the following year. What are your thoughts? any big difference between getting in to uk through the foundation program vs through fy2 after an intern. I was hopeful on doing the intern in uk and learning their management. Just worried about how difficult the csa is to pass in one go. Have an idea on the pass rate? Sorry this became long, but im sure there's others like me, wondering the same thing. Thanks Hope
Hello, I think it depends on what you're comfortable with. I know it's high risk to take an exam that's offered only once a year, but for me it was worth trying. And I apologize, I do not have any information on the current passing rate for the CSA. I have heard it can be more difficult to get a training spot as a standalone FY2 compared to starting as an FY1, but it's still possible and it's difficult for me to comment as I personally didn't go through that path. Good luck!
Hi. This is really helpful! Thanks for uploading. I was wondering if you have any personal sns like istagram of FB. I'm an IMG too. Aiming for UKFP 2024
It really depends. NCA has a set date and it's for the UKFPO while the PLAB2 is for GMC registration. In my opinion, I don't think it makes a difference which one you take first as long as you pass both within their set deadlines :)
