1997년 그때 스무살 이었음 신촌에서 시디 사서 처음 앨범 들었는데 이곡에 꽂혔음 음 근데 첫 가사부터 말이 안되더라구요 중국 마사지사 가 일본 전통 시조 를 읊는다 ? 그럴일 없죠 절대 영국에선 동아시아 문화는 잘 모르는구나 라고 느꼈음 뭐 그래도 25년 지났는데 지금 플라시보 1집 시디는 가지고 있진 않아도 내 스포티파이 목록엔 들어있음 아마 25년 후에도 이 노래 듣고 있을거임

Forgot about this great album. I saw them at Reading festival in 2000 and by then I had lost interest, but the debut is a fantastic disk. There's something New Order-ish about "Hang Onto Your IQ", especially in the middle eight (from 02:46).
