A project five years in the making, PLAE partnered with the University of Georgia to take the Bulldogs' football training facility to a whole new level. PLAE CEO Brett Waits walked through the finished weight room with Coach Scott Sinclair, UGA's Director of Football Strength and Conditioning, and discussed the process of designing the room from the ground up.
Double in size from the previous facility, the new weight room increases the number of lifting platforms and square footage to create a fully-equipped space and allows the entire team to train at the same time. PLAE’s Achieve rubber spans the weight room floor, as well as unique plyometric stairs for agility drills. Finished with classic black Attack turf, the facility is built as one of the most adaptable training environments in the country.
Later that year, the first season in their new training facility, the Dawgs would be crowned the 2021 NCAA College Football Playoff Champions, securing the school's first national title since 1980.
