This kit looks so adorable! I was surprised by how much this pops a lot more than most of koto's mecha musume kits despite looking very simplistic and basic.
Fun Fact Miao is how you write meow in German. Also the thing with the Cards do kinda make sense considering Alice is the 2nd kit of the line. (Their version of Alice in Wounderland) And the kit you need for the big weapon is called Chloe wich is also a Catgirl but she has a vacuum instead of a broom Sadly the barrel is only meant for the combined mode with the weapon you get from Chloe but you do have a tiny handle on the broom itself you just need to pop of the guard behind the seat part and can attach that peg into the hand but it makes it quite front heavy and really hard to pose.
When I saw images of her and the other two cuties in the line, I knew I had to have them! I got Miao from a local store and the other two I will get there when they come. She is so cute and putting her together was fun! I am going to make up for lost time not modeling after seeing how the process isn’t so daunting.
Her legs are like that because of how the designer draws his waifus, Tony, aka Tony Taka of Shining jrpg series fame. I already owned all recent 3 kits from this line and will be getting more of them. Really looking forward to the Yuri Godbuster waifu kit from Playmax soon as well, now that new waifu kit line is Akiman's design. A Street Fighter character designer designing a sci fi medieval waifu kit, now that's a first.
Oh yay! She's such a cutie. I want all the girls from this line but I keep putting them off. Great to see a review of her, I might have to move her up in priority. I really love all her hair options, and I'm surprised by how poseable her tail is. Very cute.
I don't know what I was expecting but I was kinda hoping, since it's a Max Factory produced kit, that the neck would be compatible with figma neck joints.
I missed the pre order for her 😢 Will wait for a reprint... But the second in the line, Alice just arrived today with my RG hi-nu(finally) and IMS batsh 😁
For those curious: the second kit that allows you to combine the two weapons into one giga-weapon is the guilty princess Chloe, which is the same cat-girl maid theme but with a “vacuum cleaner for a weapon”
Also, based on the decals available, you are supposed to buy 20 of both kits and build all of them differently with a different decal marking, to have the full set. You can never have enough robot cat maids now, can you?
I just found out you live or lived in Korea that’s rlly cool I’m a mediocre gunpla builder and I really love your reviews learned a lot from watching keep up the good work
_Super_ disappointed that the gold isn't the plated gold that it looks like in the art for this kit and the Chloe kit. I don't know what I was expecting exactly, but that tacky cheese gold wasn't it. I could still paint it, but it never has that high gloss plated look... :\
Plamax definitely Plamo Max factory branding. While the Figmas are S.H. Figuarts. If you look closely at the broom handle it is parts-formed into a sniper rifle. If you collect all three different maid kits
ZAK!! (Zach? Zach? Zaku?) With your knowledge of Mecha Musume, do you know of any kits that wear actual trousers?? As in PANTS, not PANTSU. I want to make a custom of my mecha pilot, but I can only find bare-legged lady kits. (And while I appreciate the fanservice, it's not what I need atm!! X_x;; )
I think there’s some option parts from kotobukiya that actually have clothed thighs, bandai does for sure for the 30MS line they have (i just dunno where exactly to find em)
Oh! Thank you! I'm looking for legs that look actually covered in fabric, with wrinkles and stuff, not just black tights or something. Anything like that?
@@Fiery25123 The Ludens kit is more of a spacesuit so it might work, although it still looks perhaps too mechanical (a bit of putty to add creases/etc might help). Same goes for the Megami Device WISM line - they got a rerelease some time ago but, being a bit less popular than other line characters, might still be in stock. Finally, If you're doing a female pilot figure, you could kitbash a Hand Scale FA girl with a Hexa Gear Governor, but those are both pretty tiny. Beyond that, I got nothing.
You could always buy real fabric pants? Picco Neemo makes them in a variety of 1/12 scale options? I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for but, I thought I'd put the option out there.
Zaku! Did you forget the time you had a manual get ruined by water damage?! Yet you complain about a manual in a plastic bag? That plastic bag is what prevents the problem you had before!
It's a lot better than Bandai's Mecha Musume line to be, but subpar in comparison to Kotobukiya's Mecha Musume line mainly for the compatibility with various kits. The cat tail is a game changer as I would love to use that to plug into Laetitia or Bullet Knights Launcher.
