You’re very knowledgeable and absolutely right about the dining area being too small. I would have a smaller island closer to the fridge for a larger dining area. Chicken wire is cheap, wood shelves are more in keeping with the style of the home. Great video.
You are right about the island, the shape takes up a lot of space, plus it's not that pleasing to the eye. Perhaps they could re-arrange the couch area and move the table closer to the wall. Love that top floor. I would have that for my oldest child living at home and then swap with them once I am older and they can have the house :). I also love to have a window over the sink and the shape of American West kitchen windows always look nice. I wonder if the decorations in the bedrooms come with the base price? Probably not.
Hi Jack, Are these the models that have been sitting for a few years and are now finally being sold? I wonder why such a big home would not include a three car garage? Yes, the dining area is kitchen is very small and the island shape does look dated. I would put in a much larger stove/oven like a wolf appliance since the one in there now looks lost. I mean the builder put in a huge fridge. We had a condo once that was actually four stories. Way too many stairs and levels. This home may be better off as a two story. Some of the small pony walls should be removed to give the rooms a more open look and feel. Yes, the small powder room is just that and why would the builder install such a large window in there? Probably not much room for a pool or spa. A nice bbq and possibly a patio cover. I know that there are water restrictions in Vegas, so maybe plant a few cactus around the back yard and do a desert scape theme in ft yard vs the fake grass, which I very much dislike. Is this area off the Blue Diamond cutoff?
