I would love to see a bookshelf tour and physical tbr tour. It was so fun seeing little snippets of your shelves in this video. Would love a more in depth video! Love your channel! ❤
@@AhyasCottage Ohh if you're moving I would love a bookshelf organization video and then you can do a bookshelf tour in the same or a separate video. Just an idea! Can't wait to see it 😍
Oh, I'm so glad to find someone else who doesn't immediately shelve the books they just finished! I'll usually keep my just finished books out to let the story "breathe" before I tuck them into my bookshelves
ahya you've become my comfort youtuber since your first video 💕 I can never skip any of your videos please keep creating these beautiful videos 🌼 btw that booknook is absolutely adorable ahhh 🩷🌱💐 💌 Ps. hope you have a lovely day
Ohh thank you SO much😭😭 this makes me want to cry🥹 I love making these videos and am so touched that you enjoy watching them, thank youuu🥹🤎 and isn’t it just the cutest thing ever!! I love seeing it on my shelves hehee
I just came across your channel today and almost binged watched all your videos...I love the cozy vibe of your channel it's like a big hug and thank you for all the book recs I got to add so many hidden gems to my tbr 💌
I am so obsessed with keeper of the lost cities. I happen to buy book 1 in March and now on book 4. I went ahead and ordered books 5 through 9 to read this summer. Anyone know other books like these? I am new to fantasy type books.
Ocean at the end of the lane was excellent. Don’t feel badly if you give up on The Hobbit. It was at a time when I forced myself to finish every book. I no longer torture myself and just move on. I’m 63 and there are just too many other excellent books on my tbr.
I completely agree. I always give a book a fair chance, but life is way too short (and there’s way too many good books out there) to waste time on a book that I’m truly not enjoying😊
Book nooks are the cutest 😍 My dad bought me one as a surprise when I was contemplating getting one ! I also decided to ban myself from buying more books until I read my physical copies … there were so many that were just sitting there collecting dust 🥹
Team Sokeefe? Keefster? I can't remember the ship name 😂. Last year I read the whole series; as a whole it wasn't my cup of tea, but I loved book 4&5!!
YES! President of the Foster Fan Club🤣🤣 I completely get you!! The first few books weren’t 5 stars for me either, but then I got to book 5 and became so attached to the characters🙈🤎
Anyway, my summer TBR is : *Lud in the mist *Tress of the emerald sea *A letter to the illuminous deep *Emma *Miss Newsbury's list *A shade of milk and honey (regency novel with magic) *Pride and prejudice along with the book His good opinions : A Mister's Darcy novel *Sanditon completed by another lady (Marie Dobbs) *Winnie the pooh : The complete tales *What the river knows *A river enchanted
My summer tbr ☀🌊: -The adventure's of Amina Al-Serafi -Stardust -The girl who fell beneath the sea -Tress of the emerald sea -Yumi and the nightmare painter -On stranger tides
You've become such a comfort RU-vidr for me! I dislocated and fractured my ankle a couple of weeks ago and am housebound for the next 4-6 weeks, so your videos and book recommendations have been a great help!
Ohh thank you so much for your kind comment and I’m SO sorry to hear that you fractured your ankle!! That must be so painful and disorientating😞 I’m sending you so much love and wish you a speedy recovery🤎 thank you for watching my videos as you take the time to heal🥺
Oh, and I wanted to recommend Miranda Mills's channel to you, Ahya. She recommends some lovely seasonal reads as well as has beautiful footage of gardens and baking and lots of coziness!
Have you ever read Lud-in-the mist ? It's a cosy fantasy novel from 1926 which reminds me a bit of the Hobbit (not the writing but the atmosphere) ! I can't remember if you have mentionned it before in your videos 😅
Noo I’ve never read it before!! I’ve seen it around in bookshops a lot and wasn’t sure what it was about, but I love that it has the atmosphere of the Hobbit!😮 I’ll definitely have to look into it, thank you for the recommendation🥹🤎
Beautiful video!! I just discovered you!!❤️ Among others, I am continuing on in The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion, a light, but not vacuous, fun series which I absolutely adore🩵 I am reading vol.6. I Also, I'm reading the Camulod Chronicles, by Jack Whyte. It's such an awesome Arthurian series. There are nine, I believe, and I will be starting book 3, which will be narrated by Merlin💙 It's historically brilliant, richly imagined plot-wise, and, surprisingly, has been ultimate cottagecore (so far.) I've loved the first two so dearly.
a great summer Shakespeare I think you would quite like is A Midsummer Night's Dream. it's a fun, lighthearted romantic comedy about woodland sprites and fairies being mischievous and interferring with humans very lovely video as always ♡
Just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos. I just started reading books maybe after 7 years (last time was gcse). But I read kim jiyoung, born in 1892 and now enjoy reading. I’ve been liking cozy Japanese fictions recently. But I love listening to your recommendations !! I think I’ll read Four Seasons in Japan for summer. compared to your reading speed I am much slower 😂😂
After completing this books will you please read South Indian historical novels please give a try I just wish see english booktubers atleast one book booktuber reading South Indian historical novel As a book lover I never recommended this book to my native language readers because everyone knows this book Called : Ponniyin Selvan part 1: fresh floods There is a five parts in this book it's written by kalki Krishnamurthy It's a Tamil language book translated in english too it has movie adaptations too I usually never recommended this book to anyone because it's actually well known historical action romance fiction book, but as far as I know only few writers books only translated into english, There is lots of great books in tamil language unfortunately many books are not translated. If I disturbed you I am really sorry If you read that book I recommended please let us know in your video If you don't like it's alright I respect your decision ❤
i think you've just motivated me back into being a reader again. i've been more of a webtoon enthusiast lately, but i'm definitely missing the more physical stuff! loooove your cottagecore, calm and cozy vibe and that's what i'm striving towards in my own day-to-day
You've become one of my favourite creators here on RU-vid, Ahya! I absolutely fwll in love with your cosy content and yozr calming videos🥰 And to hear that you support Lexi makes me even more happy! I also adore her content 😍
My top spring time fantasy is Tress of the emerald sea by Brandon Sanderson, teacups, pirates, adventure, love, and an incredible female main character!
Summer TBR: -The Secret Garden -Entwined by Heather Dixon Wallwork -Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson -How I Met my Soulmate Manga by Anashin ❤Love your videos!!!
I will say that while i do enjoy the TV adaptation of All Creatures Great and Small, it's fairly different from the books (which i adore! 💚). It's different enough that i don't think it really matters if you watch it before reading it.
I LOVE your videos so much Ahya. Every video is so cozy and wholesome. ✨ 🌳🩷 Thank you for sharing your Summer TBR with us 🍓❤️ I added a few of your mentioned books to my TBR and I also plan to read some more classics this summer as well! Thanks for the inspiration 🙏
Awwww that makes me SO unbelievably happy!!!! Thank you for watching and enjoying my videos😭😭 It’s always lovely to read classics in the summer and I hope you have the best time reading them🥰☁️✨
I always enjoy your tea making part of your videos 🫖 as someone who is literally OBSESSED with tea, I really appreciate people who share the same taste~ ily
That little book nook is the cutest thing I’ve seen❤ I’m definitely going to look into ordering one! Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is on my tbr list this summer too. I just received my copy in the mail a couple of days ago. Have a lovely weekend Ahya🌸
Yes!! Every time I saw the booknook kits online I always thought that they were the most precious things🥹 How exciting that you’re looking into getting one as well😍 I hope you enjoy reading Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland as well🥹🫖✨
Hi Ahya, I just wanted to let you know that I saw the Spirited Away theatre production last weekend and it was really good. You will enjoy it. It is almost a word for word reproduction with a few small surprise extras (I won’t spoil it but related to the music). Have fun! Also the shop doesn’t have much which was a bit surprising really, the programme is worth it but quite pricey (£15).
how i love this video Ahya 🥹🤍 i'm in love with your gentles vibes 🫶 i've been wanting to read the keeper of the lost cities series for soooo long i really need to buy the first book ! i'm also so interested in all creatures great and small 👀 i really enjoyed a sky painted gold so i hope you will too and the ocean at the end of the lake is on my july tbr 🥰 i remember you mentioning the baron in the trees in a previous video and i still really really want to read it as well ! ohhhh hedgewitch i've heard such great things about this book i need to add it to my tbr 🤗 i'm co-hosting a lotr readathon and readalong so i'll be rereading the hobbit in september for it 🧝🏻♀
Ohhh thank you so much Celine!!😭😭 The first book of KOTLC wasn’t my favourite, but I fell in love with the series as I progressed through the books! and I’m so excited to hear that you enjoyed A Sky Painted Gold - I can’t wait to read it because I’ve heard it’s The Great Gatsby inspired?!😍
P. S. A lotr Readathon sounds MAGICAL😮 I’ve been wanting to read the lotr series for such a long time and that sounds like the perfect time to join in with others🙈
