I totally get that! I have placed so many SMALL orders because I finally wanted to slowly, bit by bit figure out what works for my planning style and brain 😂🤍

I have used soooooooo many planners until I found this one works best for me. I had to try (and fail) them all though to find something that helped keep me sane 😂

First, deep breath because you are doing great, mama! Seriously!!! 5 kids is A. LOT. I never do any active teaching with kids below 3 or 4 and even from 3-5 it’s barely schooling/teaching. We started kindergarten at age 7 with my eldest son. We just do everything as a group and then they do solo work. Or we have solo work and then group work. The reason we do the block schedule is because we just can’t do all the things everyday in our homeschool. It’s far overwhelming to us when we want to go deep in a subject. I do life hacks (like packaged rice crispy treats for a craft we did recently instead of making it from scratch. Cause... #AintNobodyGotTimeFoDat. What you’re showing your children is that life is full of interruptions and figuring out a balance. It takes trial and error to figure out what works for your family. I think part of this is my personality to just keep going + plexus and a WHOLE. LOT. OF. PRAYER. I can’t do all the things on my own and I often drop the ball on at *least* a few things per day. 😂 I will say that the past few weeks back on plexus make we wish I had never dropped it because now I feel like I get more done (of the important things - not necessarily everything on my list) with energy to spare. Which is nuts! I say lots of short prayers during the day, asking for prayers/help from saints and Mary! Jesus, Mary and Joseph, help me! I take breaks. The littles aren’t always on the same nap schedule but I go to my room alone when they do. Or step outside. I listen to music for 30-60 minutes. The other kiddos have quiet time and do art, dance or read while I do my break. It resets me since I’m an introvert. Just take it a bit at a time. And trial and error to see which schedule works for ya. We don’t always get it all done, but we just try to hit the big ones for us. It’ll usually be a bit different for each family.

Thank you so much for your kind comment! 🤍 I’ve seen people get arrested that have a medical note from a doctor excusing them from wearing a mask. America is a hot flaming mess everywhere. There are still places that are a bit more relaxed and allow people in without wearing them but mostly in republican areas. Democrat run cities are a horrible mess. The CDC and WHO exempt autism etc like you say but no one is following these guidelines. They just yell at you to put on a mask. 😭 We did find some lace ones that protect from nothing but allow entry. My girls and I have really bad asthma and feel suffocated with anything else on and have to use our inhalers more now due to restricted breathing in public. I wish things would go back to normal.

@@SaltyTribeCo I really feel for you. I'm not anti masks, I get why we need to wear them. But I'm also sympathetic to people who can't and don't for a genuine reason not political ones. And it means I don't quite fit into either side of the mask conversation. I have a little cousin who has autism and just would not wear one, like good luck you'll need it trying to put one on and keep it there. But then I've know people in hospital with Corona and people whose family members have died from it, so I do care. It's a fine line sometimes with what to do. I like how in Scotland it's inside and in busy outside public spaces but in outdoors you don't have to wear one, because fresh air is good for immunity. I've seen on TV a glimpse at how crazy it has been in US. Guidance has been much, much clearer in Europe. I was in Lithuania before Christmas and Scotland right now. Guidance has been more realistic and clearer in Lithuania definitely helps. Hugs to you in this complicated time! Seriously hugs!!
