The reason behind inclination of posterior teeth was not explained properly. As medial pterygoid muscle is not the only masticatory muscle, and it's anatomical orientation does not affect a vector of occlusal forces. There are masseter and temporal muscles as well. All three muscles are working on both sides to lift mandible vertically. Teeth are also moving with mandible vertically. Teeth inclination is pure consequence of pattern of development and and disproportion of anatomy of upper and lower jaw.

What do you mean by upper posterior should be of buccal inclination & lower posterior should be of lingual inclination ? Could you please show this point in practical way to be more recognizable .. Is that when arragement the teeth in this layout , curve of wilson would be the result ?? Please reply my questions .. Great thanks in advance ...for your great ... efforts ... Please keep going with English language , & with slow manner while talking ...

Mam , what do you mean that posterior teeth aligned with forward tilt ? When talking about curve of spee ...could you please show this point clinically to be more obvoius ... is that during arramgement of artificial teeth ?

Can u plz explain effects of reverese and accentuated curve of wilson on anterior teeth,and I believe there is curve of wilson for maxillary which is in opp direction of curve of wilson of mandible The occlusal parameter most likely associated with maxillary anterior spacing is a/an A. Class II, division 2 dental malocclusion. B. Class III skeletal malocclusion. C. accentuated maxillary curve of Wilson. D. reverse maxillary curve of Wilson. C Can u help me understand this question plz with diagrams.will appreciate,thanks

But the Lingual cusps of the lower posteriors are higher than buccal, how come saying they're taller!! I'm confused!

Exactly! Maybe it's ment that buccal cusps are longer relatively to a horizontal plane in conjunction with the fact that bottom teeth are tilted inward.

Bcs they are not present in natural dentition but needs to be incorporated in complete dentures for stability , guiding the occlusal forces in the most favorable direction .
