Plane Passenger Says She Was Sexually Assaulted on Flight 

All I’m saying is if anyone touches me on the plane, they’re going home in a pine box

If a person on an airline appears drunk, they should not get served more alcohol.

We have a problem with alcohol in this country.

The guy should be sued not the airlines. She said no one helped me. It sounded like the person that offered to trade seats with her was trying to help her.

Didn't she say in the beginning a flight attendant came over and asked if everything's ok? And now she's saying the flight attendants were not helping her?

Did she at least attempt to call the police or security on him during or after the plane landed?

How convenient. The lawsuit is against the Airline while nothing happens to the man... Seems like she's groping for cash & not justice.

This is why airlines cannot afford to serve drinks on a plane. It's not worth it. To even accept that drunk passenger because he was business class is not good enough. Hundreds of strangers in any confined space for any period of time is hazardous. But on an airplane, often for hours, and with alcohol on board, is a recipe for disaster. Men cannot behave themselves on a good day with both feet on the ground and completely sober. Asking them to behave on a plane after drinking is too much for them to handle, it appears. If I had been in her situation, my fist would be very sore and those flight attendants would be bringing ice for both of us.

So she didn't call the police, didn't film the person, didn't yell at him but sued...something sounds off about her story!

They need a protocol ...and the staff need to implement it..THIS is shocking and not acceptable

They shoud've jump out seat and scream like lady "Stop touching me". passenger would look at the man. many airline should install entire camera everywhere in passenger seats.

I had a similar experience with a drunk passenger. But thankfully, the airline acted on it when I asked for help. They moved me to a different seat. After I was moved, the drunk passenger continued harassing other passengers. The Captain then came out and spoke sternly to him. He was still rude to the flight attendants after that, but at least he toned down.

I once stopped a drunk guy from hitting on a young lady that was traveling by herself. She seemed uncomfortable. Had backup from my two sons… no altercation. Simply told him to stop and had her switch seats with me. He minded his own business the rest of the trip. Sometimes it just takes someone speaking up.

This story doesn’t make sense.

There needs to be one descent sized male attendant that is also trained as a security guard on every plane. We can't expect some small female attendant to deal with a big drunk male.

I love the modern adults who witness these incidents and have absolutely zero initiative, character, soul, or any of the other components that we once had inside of us to make us stand up and say “enough”.

At this point, everyone should be able to own a plane or private jet the same way they own a car so incidents like this don't keep happening.

Back in 1982 I was flying back to Victoria B.C Canada 🇨🇦 from Gander Newfoundland Canada 🇨🇦 to visit my mother I was 15 and i was in-between two men who both groped me and the flight crew did not believe me and since then I haven't flown anywhere..🥺🥺 Never made it back to my dad since. That was almost exactly what happened to me in the 90’s. I sued the airline. Long story short he was arrested and I had to have major arm shoulder surgery. It was a nightmare. I’m sorry this happened to you. I now have terrible ptsd esp. flying.

What were the staff able to really do by that point? She was already changing seats and they can't exactly kick the guy out of the plane. They even came up to ask if everything was ok. The best I could see them do is stop selling the offender alcohol and notify there managers so to bar him from future flights. She shouldn't have to go through this in the first place but this is on the sexual assaulter not the airline.

She had an opportunity to join the mile high club. Stop flying for pleasure until the airline clean up their act. People so desperate to travel that theirs no shortage of customers and the airlines just don’t care.
