Thanks for the feedback! I'm always on the lookout for the Kalitta Ait 747s. They've been flying north of my area lately, but I'll post a video of the next one that I see!
@@OneLensTwo I'm going to get one for my birthday soon, very excited! It sure is a legendary camera for plane spotting. But the bad thing is that I don't live in LA anymore, and I'm too young to travel
Hello and thanks for the feedback! It was pretty dark and cloudy that day, so I think I made some adjustments to the video in post-production. Brightness and sharpness I think.
I agree, Plane Dude! I think that was before Airline Videos Live started the behind the scenes view, so it was fun to see their setup when I was there that day.
Amazing... Excuse me, want to get information about Nikon P1000, 1. Its original video or already edit? 2. Compare to Sony RX10 Which one is better for plane spotting? Thank you for our advice
I think I lightened the video a little in post as it was a cloudy day and I also tend to stabilize video clips in post. As for which camera is better... other than focal length, that's a whole other video of pros and cons :)
Nice and informative video. Do you have some still photography of the planes from a distance zoomed through the same camera. I am looking for a camera for plane spotting. Thanks
Thanks, Aatif G.! I checked my pictures from that day and unfortunately I didn't find anything. I post lots of pictures in the articles that I write on my website, but it looks like I was shooting mostly video that day.
@@OneLensTwo not particularly that day but anytime, I just want to see the still photography results of this camera. Also can I ask for your website URL? Thanks
My website is 1lens2.com. You can click on some of the pictures in the articles to see a full size view. There are some video captures, but I tend to call those out.
l have not measured how long I can record on a single battery, but it seems to be as long as other cameras that I have used. But it really depends on how much zooming you do. Lots of zooming through the huge 25mm to 3000mm focal length range will eat up batteries fast.
BTW, I found the video recording time in the operating manual. It's 1 hour and 20 minutes when using the battery that comes with the camera. But I expect that zooming a lot will cut that down.
