Hi all, with a lovely day weather wise. It was irresistible to do some spotting somewhere. This time I decided to head down to London City for a few hours and see what was about. I stayed for about 3 hours, and caught a few interesting movements
It was my first time to see the new livery of Aer Lingus, on the Avro RJ85, I thought it looked amazing - I have yet to see their livery in person on their Airbus jets, but I do like the livery myself. It was also nice to get a BAE 146 in the form of WDL Aviation operating flights for BA. That was an interesting catch. Another interesting movement to note for is G-LCAA at 28.27, this is BA's newest frame only put into service 2 days prior to filming this video. It was an ex China Southern frame.
Aside from all that, the rest were usual movements including BA E190's, Luxair Q400's, Alitalia E190's, a Flybe Q400 and some private jets as well
I hope you enjoy this video, and if you do feel free to hit the like button and subscribe if you're new

Finally another planespotting video from the unique LCY airport - thank you, Casey! Interesting touchdown of Luxair-Dash 8 Q400 at 09:21 minutes ... The new Aer Lingus livery looks really great. Especially the Aer Lingus A330 in this new livery! The Dassault Falcon was also a very good catch! I like the steep arrivals and the short take offs in LCY. Thank you, Casey & best regards from Germany.

i'm a brazilian and am very happy to see so many embraers. i think the partnership with boeing is going to be positive for both companies and help them compete with the a220 airbus rebranded from bombardier. hopefully, boeing will keep both names, BOEING-EMBRAER.

Amazing video as always, I love your London City spotting. I have to say the BAEs in Aer Lingus coulors look awesome great that Cityjet gave them a painting, this also let me hope they will stay in service for quite some time to come. The highlight of course was "Speedbird 1", maybe some day we will see an A220-100 doing the route nonstop, recently roumors broke that Jetblue could offer such service in the future. The Falcon X was also great I mean who does not love a trijet :D

The good ole prop jets and third engine aircrafts a site to behold Also 1:30 to 2:15 I know it’s the camera not being able to catch the speed of the props of the plane and a but it makes it look like they took off with out any engine power what so ever lol

@t.p.mckenna
@t.p.mckenna 2 года назад
First thing to say is there's a curfew Saturday midday to Sunday midday. This is to give the local residents a breather from the noise, so zero planes. Next thing, these shots were taken by the dock path at the Borough of Newham's offices and there's full public access. From the cable stop at Royal Victoria it's a half hour walk. Simplest to pop on the DLR and go west two stops to Royal Albert, then its a short walk south to the dock path. Further away at the runway's west end is the flyover and that's a short walk from Gallion's Reach. That's a great vantage point, assuming traffic is taking off in a westerly direction (about two thirds of the time), because incoming traffic passes right over head - just 60ft or so - and departing flights taxi down to this end and are queued for departure. But how will you know? If you have the Flight Radar app on your phone you can see how the traffic is prevailing. There's a flyover at the other end but no footpath on it. Mornings and teatime are busiest, otherwise there can be long lulls (as much 30 mins at times) between flights. Check the LCY flight info online which gives you the best idea of the ebb and flow. Pack drinks/snacks for the little 'un because there's next to no shops or coffee places.

The configuration holds only 32 passengers in business class only. It leaves with a little more fuel for it to get to Shannon. If it left with a full tank then it would be too heavy to take off from the short LCY runway. Goes through customs at Shannon and fills up with fuel. The flight arrives JFK as a domestic flight, collect your bags and you're off. I was in 2A four years ago on that flight.
