Planet Coaster ¦ The Basics

So I’m looking for ways to cover up/hide areas that I don’t want seen like large areas of open grass outside of a fence

Well, I have purchased the game about 2 years ago. In the past I enjoyed Rollercoaster Tycoon a lot, so I thought I’d enjoy Planet Coaster just as much. I have been playing the game on and off, so no, I am certainly not great at it and still need to learn a lot. Moomin, thank you for this basics video, it is indeed helpful to those new to the game, or those (like me) who just need to practice more. I don’t how you would feel about it, but how about doing sort of a “Planet CoasterCollege” video series. That would be great. In the meantime, keep up the good work, your own creations, competitions and lots more. And off course, please keep your sense of humour. 😉

I remember the first time I played planet coaster on my dads computer, as I was much younger at the time of release. And, wow, has this game changed!

Perfect time to make this video considering it's on summer steam sale.

I've been bothered by the path tool selecting the grid of gridded pieces (instead of the actual path) more times than I can count. Never did I stop and realize what that implied and that it can in fact be useful. Thank you for giving new players (and the occasional older one in this case) all the tools they need. Excellent video!

Darn! If only I’d seen this vid a few weeks ago before I tried to manually fit pathing onto a grid on flattened terrain inside a building! I’m into my fifth park build and I didn’t know pathing could snap to a building grid! Mind blown!

Ah love this Moomin! I only have about 1,000 hours but there is always more to learn in the game. and this is super helpful for anyone just getting into the game. love this!

One thing I really struggle with is building entrances, I never know how to transition the entrance into rides or different areas, can you consider doing a tutorial of this?

It blows my mind how there isn't a simple tutorial scenario in this game?? They just decided to make a few videos and "good luck". You could have at least a scenario where they teach you to build a simple ride and decorate it, maybe introduce you to the management panel.

Hi, I have a problem... my interlocked, placed components slip around when they are placed in each other. what´s the problem?

Planet coaster / planet zoo /jurasic park features would be perfect to ad to Elite Dangerous , imagine a real planet filled with amusement parks .

Not only did I shout, but became "triggered" as a console player. Thankfully, the Chief Beef received proper trim work and I was able to calm myself.

and im still waiting patiently for a new planco series

When building does this eat into other operations whilst park is open? 🤔

How do I get the path grid on console?? It doesn’t show in the same place as yours did😭
