Only started watching your channel this week. I like these ideas. Decided to create a habits and meals planner in a composition notebook that I already had. First page I put down what foods I have, 2nd page started the list of possible meals. Subsequent page I put down the menu for the week on left half, and on right half I put the habits for the morning, lunch and dinner (I don't eat breakfast) and habits for evening. I need the habits checkboxes because I am not someone who adheres to daily habits well. But since I suffer from insomnia these days, I thought about how much show time and when I could watch, when I could listen to something and sew, bedtime, meditation, and finally and hopefully sleep. I did the half pages for the other days, and also put down the Market List. I'm excited to see how this will work for me. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us.

Love your meal planning tips and spreads! I also only cook for 2 right now. I typically only make 3 dinners per week and then either repurpose some of the leftovers or just alternate the leftovers for dinners and then we eat out once a week with a coupon or gift card earned from rebate apps that I use all the time or pull something out of the freezer from previously. So, i.e. I will make baked chicken thighs and baked potatoes for Dinner on Monday. Hubby will take a smaller version of dinner for lunch the next day and there will be enough for another whole dinner leftover for another night later in the week. On Tuesday, I will make Goulash for dinner and for next days lunch for hubby and leftovers for another time in the week. On Wednesday Im using last Sundays leftover BBQ ribs to make pulled pork sandwiches. Thursday using the chicken for chicken chipotle bowls; Friday: leftover goulash; Saturday BLTs; Sunday eat out or pull something out of the freezer that was left over previously that we didnt get to as I sometimes make WAY too much of something. Like this weeks goulash. I will have enough left over to freeze some. Not sure yet ( I havent made it yet) if it will be a lunch size portion or a dinner sized portion.

In 2019 we spent $300 per month on groceries. In the past couple of years it has cost us $300 every ten days for groceries. Hmmm? "Wonder why the difference?", she asked sarcastically as she walked into the county clerk's office to register to vote. By the way, I do keep all my receipts and have for years. I have a box of receipt envelopes that can show consumer challenges. And a challenge it certainly has been. Really love being frugal regarding planners. Thanks for sharing your tips.

I was just planning to do a meal planner like this. I can reuse it and not have to reinvent the wheel constantly. I have a clearance happy planner I’m going to use. That way I can add to it if I want to. I just punch regular paper to add in. I love your envelope idea. ❤
