I have worked with a local farm-to-table, high-end wedding caterer in my own area for about 5 years (front-line "crew" for 30+ luxe weddings a year!), and Josie, YES YES YES - do the map on the back of your menus. This is a fabulous idea, as - in my experience - so many guests are intrigued and engaged with the meal, and it is such a fabulous point of conversation. Also, I just know you'll inspire others to think about where their food comes from, the quality of what they eat, and such a spectacular meal SHOULD be curated in a special way. I can't WAIT to see what you and Charlie magic together for your incredible day! Thumbs up for the map on the back of the menus! Make it a sketch quality folks will want to frame - why not? I know I'd want one!

So exciting to hear your wedding plans! My friend hired a dog sitter for her wedding day and they brought the dogs along to the venue for photos! Then drove them back afterwards, it was a really hot day so it was good to have someone dedicated to their care!

It’s all just so scrum-diddli-umptious! I ADORE the white cabbage plates! I feel like they’re an elevated departure from the usual green, but the colors together are oh so elegant! 💗 you’ll be the most beautiful 👰🏼♀️ everrr! Pro tip: ask your makeup artist to airbrush your makeup on so you don’t have to re-apply throughout the day. Was an absolute MUST for my southern Georgia wedding! ✨

I know people in Montreal who were looking at venue for 2023/2024 and the lady told me that the prize had literally exploded to up 50% of what it used to be before the pandemic! I think having your wedding at your home is so "you and Charlie", Josie - plus, it gives you the opportunity to pick everything from A to Z. I salute you for keeping your menu all local :)) I am 100% percent that if you post a video of the event on youtube I'll be so emotional after following your vlogs for so many years :))

That's pretty much what we did. We had an outdoor wedding with 25 guests at a little bed and breakfast, then went on a dream honeymoon touring England for 2 weeks.
BTW, I did NOT come from a rich family but my mom was dying so that's why we had a big wedding in the states. So she could see everyone:) Just because money is present (or not) doesn't mean that people don't don't have important choices to make Especially when getting married. They work hard. God Bless:)

I did all the flowers for my wedding reception (which included several massive bamboo waterfalls that I created) and I thought that was a lot! Woah, growing your own fruit, veg and flowers...that's impressive!!!😍

So excited to see more wedding content it sounds amazing 🥰 I’m from Newcastle but I’d imagine there’ll be something similar near where you live, It’s called Wishbone Weddings and she looks after your dogs the day and night of your wedding whilst also chaperoning them at your wedding if you’d like them to be part of it for photos etc, it’s a wonderful idea to have your little boys there.

Just a friendly suggestion if you’re using a UV lamp to cure your manicures, make sure you’re putting on sunscreen because it does have UV rays in it all curing lamps do.

The surprise about using my IPL is the stretch marks from being pregnant more than 38 years ago are now gone! I truly mean completely gone! It took over 2 years of use once a week. I do feel free to wear a swimsuit without a sarong. Thanks Josie so much for recommending them for hair removal with a huge surprise of ultimately removal of my stretchers.

We did the backyard wedding in our yard with the canopy. Rain was looming that week on and off so glad we had cover over grass and the tables. We also had a house full of family guests for 5 days. Wonderful memories ❤ is what I am remembering and I am sure you will too.

I have used a laser hair removal at home for a couple of years now and can confirm that it can permanently remove hair - I haven't done it all Winter and there's been zero regrowth under my arms. My legs are virtually hair free now too just the occasional hair here and there. But the best thing ever for me is the facial hair removal - as a dark-haired woman I have struggled with that since puberty and post menopause it just got worse (especially the chin hairs!) - so to be able to get rid of it permanently has been wonderful!
