I am a victim of sexual abuse. when I was young. Ricky in my eyes is completely innocent, child abusers of any age or background should suffer fates worse than death. All of the words he spoke made complete sense to me and I understood the pain he felt. Ricky is not a bad guy, he was just hurt, and I will stand by him forever. Keep it up Took2Much! He realized, after ending the life of one of his many childhood abusers, that it did nothing to quell the rage inside of him and, instead, it only further fed the burning inferno deep within his soul. You can easily tell that he was a good man with a good heart but that he was suffering inside with an ever-growing hatred towards the ones the stole his childhood along with his sister's. This is such a tragedy and what is even more messed up is that the "Children of God", now known as The Family International, have never been investigated or anything which means that they are protected by higher-ups.

Crazy how after all he went through, Ricky still felt remorse for an arguably justified killing. He was more human than any of the cult members.

The Family has ties to powerful people in multiple governments. They use their “flirty fishing” to gain favor with and blackmail politicians and officials. This could explain why they seem to avoid any kind of repercussions for what they do. Many celebrities have also been born into this cult, including River and Joaquin Phoenix (and all of their sisters) and Rose McGowan.

As a CSA survivor. I get his anger. It ate me up for many years. I dealt with the trauma and substance abuse issues.

i knew a group of people in college who grew up in this cult, they were comprised of a bunch of siblings and half siblings and although they were really cool people and eacaped the cult sometime in their youth, you could perceive the damage done to them. a lot of them were overly sexual and promiscuous

I feel so much of Ricky’s pain. I am a survivor of CSA with my mom letting things happen to me for financial gain. I am 25 and have suicidal issues.
