Plano residents say 'so long' to Collin Creek Mall with 80s themed party 

The mostly vacant, 37-year-old Collin Creek Mall officially closes Aug. 1st. It is set to get made over into a $1 billion mixed-use development with new office, residential, hotel and retail space.
Before closing, the developer wanted to hold a farewell party with an 80s theme. Thousands showed up to say good-bye to the mall.
