I used to have a HI-FI shop until my partner died at age 26y, 10m, 3d old. I had the loudest system in the county, people could hear me coming almost 3 miles away inside the local Wal-Mart store, I could crack the windshield from the base. I really miss the days of thumping as we called it, but I sold a lot of my equipment but did keep enough to setup another small system with a couple 12's solo's. I used to run 2x 18" subs, 2 x 15"subs, 4 x 12" solo-baric subs" I hat to run 2 alts to keep all 4 batteries charged and still killed them about ever 3-4 months, using 8 x 1,000,000 caps to the amps to help with the sudden power drawl, the rest of the car was setup with Polk Audio Mids and Highs with Linear Power 5002IQ, 2202IQ, 1502IQ amps which I am still a deal for by the way, they are back in business as well as Phoenix Gold, Kicker, Kenwood and Pioneer products, I still kept all my or at least 95% of my lines we had. But all the years of loud music and bass caused my ears to flood with wax, which was lucky for me because it saved my hearing, after having all the wax removed with a pair of fine tipped tweezers for 3 days on and off at night, my ears closed up from the swelling of the trauma of removing it, but after about a week the swelling went down and I could hear a mouse fart again, but I learned to be careful with my hearing. I have been thinking about setting up my system again, but not as big as I was, I bet I was about the same give or take than this guy, but at wholesale I could afford to do it.

You aren't doing anything illegal( well maybe if there is a sound ordinance) but still they were cool and the truck owner was cool. All was good. Just note that to the people that get all huffy and puffy when police come. On another note I finally got to hear one of these things yesterday. I see all the vids and was at a car show and the dude said hop in. I just could not believe what i felt and heard. Something i will remember for the rest of my life.
