So I literally just finished cooking your Mac and Cheese, candied yams, collard greens, garlicky green beans, black eyed peas, jalapeño cornbread and cranberry sauce (I bought your cookbook). I’ll be making the fried oyster mushrooms tomorrow and taking everything to my meat and dairy loving family to introduce them to a healthier lifestyle! I've been vegan for a long time (12th yr) but still love watching your channel. Your Mom is priceless. I thnik I might do Mexican for my meal this year. I eat a thanksgiving menu about once a month so I want something different on the holidays. Thanks for being so entertaining and a good person for new and old vegans to learn from. I did fried oyster mushrooms as well. Along with fried heart of palm no fish cakes (Barbados Independence Day is near). I am not a fan of seitan. Looks so good 😍 😋.

Thank you for this. My youngest son is allergic to milk. We've adopted a pretty much dairy-free lifestyle to keep him from feeling indifferent. Before my son was born, Mac and cheese was a staple in our home, especially during the holidays. I've played around over the years with vegan Mac and cheese recipes but they tend to not taste very good. Not all vegan cheese is treated equally lol. But thankful over time more options have come out and the vegan cheese quality has highly improved. I will be making this for him this year for Thanksgiving. I can already hear his excitement.
