I am just getting into hydrosols and I started off with the evan healy rose geranium hydrosol and I am in love. I cant wait to get more. I don't have ant crystals small enough to put inside, but thats just another great reason to acquire more crystals :) Loved the video sarah as always :D

I would like to make a request! Could you please make a video for essential oils and the uses of them, and how to use them cause, I didn't even know that you couldn't use them straight on your skin and that you may burn your skin. I may sound silly, but some products, even the natural ones, have a certain way to be used,and I think that there are other people like me who have no idea what they're doing with organic products, but have started using them. So glad you showed Rose Water from BULGARIA! Bulgarian roses are very special and only found in this area. They are rich on rose oil and have awesome therapeutic qualities. I've visited some of the rose distillation places (no idea how they're called in English) and can ensure you that it's all organic !
Your video convinced me to buy a hydrosol from Mountain Rose Herbs. I bought the Lime Hydrosol and I am obsessed, tt shrinks my pores almost immediately when I spray it on!

Does it impart any benefits to the hydrosols? P.S. I started using hydrosols because of you and I love evanhealy's too! Right now my favorite is her Rose-Jasmine. Love that you did this video. I have the rose hydrosol from Mountain Rose Herbs and then I have the Tahitian Vanilla, Moroccan Mint, and the Desert Sage(?) from The Body Deli. I highly recommend body lotions, body creams, mists, and the firming flax eye cream from The Body Deli, they're amazing.

I remember using Hydrosols a long time ago, my skin was amazing then, and it totally lifted up my mood whenever I used them, especially chamomille and lavender for I love the scent, lemon was also super good for my skin. I'm so getting back to it :)
I think I have finally found my favorite channel on RU-vid. I want to start treating my body better so I will definitely start to do some of the things you recommend! Thank you :-) I have acne prone skin but it has cleared up now but I'm curious about using the lavender oil because I've heard both good and bad reviews regarding the treatment of acne what do you think I should do? Also do you have a method for clearing blackheads. I know you have perfect skin so you probably have never had a blackhead but if you have a way I would love to know! Hydrosols and essential oils are made from the same distillation process. Modern Borosilicate distillery glass setups typically have a temperature plates included with the setup to prevent cooking of the material through a steam process. I would think overcooking would be hard to do unless they were working on outdated or diy technology that could cause a cooking process before chilling stage.

What a journey! I started this evening on RU-vid watching what medieval folk used to use to wash their hands. Then I was curious how lye soap was made. Then I was curious about adding essential oils. An old man then told me there are many uses of hydrosol, but stated none of them. And thus I have now learned from you... probably one of a few str8t guys to have viewed this! 😉 Ok, so now that I know hydrosol is used to dispel evil from your home and make you look as beautiful as you do; I need to say you should cry less, you are not alone in your struggles with anxiety and stress, and one day you'll find your soulmate! Because you use hydrosols so often, I'm assuming they also work as a natural perfume for you, too? :) I'd love it if you made an essential oils collection video. My sister recently bought a tea tree oil essential oil that she uses spot treating her acne, and I just love the smell of it so much!

Hello holistichabits, to begin I adore you ! You seem to be someone so peaceful, smart and kind. You might be one of the sweetest person on Earth. I have a question for you : I've been really inspired by your videos. I just quit smoking, always have been really into clean eatin, natural products, obviously quite healthy way of life (I know this might sound a bit ironic for a former smoker) but because of a lack of money I never tried essential oils nor hydrosols. Now that I'm trying to find an alternative to cigarett, I cannot decide myself between the two, because they both really interest me. In your opinion, which is worth more and why? Thank you by advance for your answer (and please excuse my english if I made some mistakes, it's late night here)
I think you should opt for essential oils as they can be used in anything... From cooking in foods, to drinks, to adding in shampoos and other products... They're really versatile! And after that if you're adopted to essential oils, you should move on to Hydrosols, as they help you being fresh and they're just really nice :) I hope this helped!
Since you are a former smoker, I would say use hydrosols. They are very calming and when you transition out of smoking it can really help you relax. The essential oils do the same but I like the way the mist feels on my skin. So your choice because it's a difficult answer. :p P.s. Great job on not smoking anymore! x

I discovered oud on my last trip to Egypt and it was love at first sniff so I must hunt down that hydrosol. It's a very pricey fragrance and it's smell is most often in incense or perfume for men or women. It is from a tree bark found in India.

I just started using Hydrosols and I got - Rose - Neroli - calendula from Mountain rose herbs and as a guy I love their packaging and I just love how the smell and feel > cant say ive noticed anything new with my skin however all 3 of those have great benefits > Amazing prices to ofor the high quality glass and organic grade products with good morals and ethics =)
I just got some local organic rose water (I live in Finland and Finnish products are usually really pure even if they're not organic though - they don't use chemicals like in the US for an example) and it's beautiful!

ah I do the same thing & put rose quartz in mine as well :) I also love evan healy's diffusers they are so nice, the mister is so light and perfect and gets all over your face… you know what I mean, some spray out huge uneven droplets haha. I love your spirit quartz too it's so beautiful, my brother got me a piece for christmas.. it's one of my favorite crystals now, I had wanted a piece for so long. And I was so excited by evan healy's holiday duo & got a sample of the douglas fir and was so disappointed, maybe I got a bad batch or something but mine arrived frozen & smelled like.. i don't even know like when herbs or lettuce go bad and get slimy. ew haha it smelled like that. I ordered it because i love the scent of christmas trees/fresh forest so I don't know maybe I'll try it again :) awesome video love them all!

I've only ever known about essential oils, this is so interesting. I've never been curious until I picked up tea tree oil to put in my natural toothpaste/mouthwash and finding other benefits to it since I've heard so many good things about it. I can smell tea tree oil alllll day it honestly makes me feel so relaxed! I'm not sure I understand the difference between making your own essential oil/water spray and hydrosol.
