Good To 👀 You. I use soil too. I do not have bugs. I used systemic insecticide every two months. My favorite plant in my Junegle is “Philodendron Velvet Leaf.” A clay pot 14” of P. Micans and P. Verrucosums. Overflowing and growing up a self watering moss pole. Has different shades of green and chocolate. Gorgeous. Happy Planting 🪴🙏🏾🌿💚🎄🎉
Beautiful plant! I'm not too fussy about soil either, I usually keep the plant in the soil and pot it came in until it NEEDS a repot lol, as long as it's growing and there aren't any pests in the soil I don't see any need to fix what ain't broke. If the soil isn't well draining I just water it less often which is less work for me and it hasn't bit me in the ass yet 🤷♀
Is your fire escape south facing? About how many hours of sun do you get? I love hearing someone else gardening on the fire escape! Insanely beautiful plant. 💚
No my windows are east facing. I don’t know exactly how many hours of sun I get. The weather is so fickle these days. Not as much sun as it should, very dreary and overcast

Your is amazing 🤩 tfs My plant of the month is Difenbachia Reflector , I just got a baby and with the storm it had cold damage I documented that and sent it to them , I said I think she will survive but just in case I’m letting u know now !
