I bought seven coneflowers, one cape fuchsia, four coreopsis and two kniphofias for $90 from a UK company based here in Ireland. I would have paid $150 for the same plants with Irish owned garden centres. The plants I bought were in good order and not on clearance they were planted three weeks ago.
It's sad the way Home Depot handle their plants. I stay in Birmingham Alabama I have practically begged then to sell the perrenials to me they refused all was trashed besides the one they had on the side for their personal stash.
The local supermarket has perennials and had markdowns of 75% they looked decent to me but i know others would have walked by. The cashier knew they were in good shape
Great haul!🌺🪴 It’s a shame Home Depot throws away non perfect plants ours in Florida does the same. Their explanation about returns/guarantee is nonsense because if the receipt says clearance there’s no returns. We’re in the same boat with lack of rain keep promising us then it skirts the area last month water bill was close to $300 😫 that’s insane. Hopefully rain will refresh and replenish the gardens. On my way to Lowes this morning for organic pesticidal soap the insects are decimating the plants because they’re thirsty too. Look forward to your videos happy gardening 🌺
Wow. Incredibly poor decision on Home Depot’s part. Too bad you couldn’t dumpster dive for them! The waste involved in throwing plants away instead of selling them at a discount is incredibly sad and wasteful.
