That's OK because even the experts don't get the names right because i trained in horticulture and one of my tutors didn't know the name of a plant that i asked what it's name was on my first day of training. Gardening is a job/hobby that you never stop learning because one of my other horticulture tutor said every day is a school day in the horticulture world and I am still learning.
I love indoor and outdoor and now that I am here in the England it’s too difficult for me to look after outdoor plant so now started to collecting indoors plants. Your video give me an idea what to have indoor. Thank you for sharing your plants collection
Very beautiful collection! you have so many NICE ceramic pots as well! I shy away from getting them because I don't want them to break! I loved the plant shelf at 19:30
JASMINE honestly!! Love this video - your home is beautiful and your energy is so relaxing. I've just this second posted my plant tour and I feel like taking it down after seeing yours! YOUR PLANTS ARE AMAZING!! x
Beautiful plants !!! Love ❤️ it.... I got 32 indoor plants now but worrying about who will take care of them when I’m going to take my vacation for a month by december... I’m afraid my son have no time to drop by my house to water them......watching from Chicago ..
Great indoor plant selection. Very inspiring! Nice variation of the aloe vera you have (in the earlier part of your video). For spider mites pls try sprinkling some cinnamon. Your doggie is well behaved. Its good that he does not destroy the leaves of your monstera or pothos. Lol!
Great house plant tour and that Jasmine has the gardening bug. I love plants and gardening and I grow my own plant foods. Jasmine should grow some vegetables in the garden because they taste better than store bought.
I’m a huge fan of alocasias, I have about 10 different varieties. Unfortunately they are very prone to spider mites and it is truly a constant battle. I try to stay one step ahead and proactively treat them. Fun :)
Wonderful plant tours, and the fake plants blended in so well that probably will not identify them without you mentioning it, so glad to meet another plant lover 😁😺
New subscriber here. You have a beautiful home and plants. The aesthetic is just perfect and so much light that I'm jealous. Thanks for sharing and stay blessed🤗👍❤.
Plants dying unfortunately is part of the hobby/job because other living things what to eat them, then you have plant diseases and viruses and disorders. (Disorders (usually a environmental, soil and weather cause) can be prevented but there's no guarantee that diseases & viruses can be prevented/controlled.)
Now, that's something I LOOOVE to watch :D Honestly, I am very very impressed about the amount of plants you have but also the love you have for them- no surprise they pay of in being gorgeous! I've only started accumulating plants but I can sense at some point my house will be a jungle :D| . Sending you all the love! Stay safe a nd have a great week ahead!
Your zz plants looked so good! I’ve been debating getting one! I have a burgundy rubber plant and also a eucalyptus tree!! Next plant I want is a zz or a parlor palm☺️
Loved the video even more cos id been figuring out the name of my plant which is philodendron selloum little hope ever since and not finding it .... Thanks for that. 😅
Actually you can just cut a monstera stem off and propagate it. When I had no idea how to propagate monsteras I just did that and put it in water. Nobody really cared to switch the water and after months it now has 2 tiny roots haha. It takes so much longer though and I guess the success rate is way lower. I did it the proper way as well and its definitely easier.
Loved this video! I’m loving being a plant mama myself. I have a few questions about potting. Where do you get your decorative pots usually? Do you repot your plants into the decorative ones or keep them in a nursery pot? I know drainage is huge with plants and I see the decorative pots with no holes and don’t always know how to navigate that!
Love all of your plants 😍 Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been getting into houseplants and my favorite so far is my philodendron birkin! I kind of want to get a 2nd one lol
AshleyReads my Birkin is one of my favorites, if not THE favorite (shhh🤫 don’t tell the others) , I’m also wanting another one I think🤣 they are gorgeous, and really low maintenance....in my opinion.
The succulents need more sunlight because they’re stretching reaching for the light, I have all of my cacti and succulents in a south facing window Also the “asparagus looking thing” is a flower spike 😅
