I’m Fern! A 20-something gal living on beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada with my partner and two dogs. I like to create content on social media part time and also work as a Registered Nurse. My RT has come back from same! New growth nearly every day. I have her on a moss pole and she is starting to take to it. Minor setback-minor sunburn-but still putting out new growth!

I see the difference in the spider plants as far as the variegation...the plants under the light look brighter and show more of the white stripe...love it! I'm glad you're doing videos about grow lights because I'm trying to figure out what kind to buy! Thanx!

I have a linearis that is not much longer than yours. I rotate between near a window and under a grow light, but when I begin to notice it drying out, I spritz a little near the roots and whenever I’m in the shower, just try to give it some humidity. I’ve mostly deferred to Summer Rayne Oakes’ video when it came to doing research for this plant...

I know you might be stressed now, and hopefully soon that will pass, but honestly watching your videos (and other plant mums) calms me down so much! I recently started getting more into plant care over lockdown, and having something to care for and focus on helped me so much, and obviously then I had to find channels where I could learn about them all and see someone with as much passion for plants. I just moved into my student house (I had to wheel my plants across my city in a trolley haha) and my new room doesn't have the best light for my plants so I would love to get a grow light one day, and this one seems amazing! Your raphidophora tetrasperma looks so so so good 😍 I got a baby one a few days ago and it is putting out a new leaf but I think it's browning so I'm a bit sad idk why the new leaf is not good but it's OK, she's still beautiful 😍❤️

All of my Albos are in some stage of growing a new leaf, but they're also getting direct sunlight behind a tinted window. Good luck with the house hunt... maybe you'll find a place with a lot of good windows!

You definitely need more light for the albo monstera. That’s pretty far from the window and they need all the light they can get.

Why is the last plant you showed us is in orange balls? And also what are they, their purpose, and what plants need those? Another question I have is where do you get the "rare" plants. Because online they can be suuuper expensive while at Home Depot for example, the same plant might be 3 times cheaper than online. Thank you :)

The orange balls are clay balls or "Leca" and it's a totally different way of growing plants semi hydroponically. I have a couple of videos about it on my channel. I decided to try it because that plant kept getting root rot. As for rare plants, sometimes you can find them in store but a lot of the time you do have to order online. It depends how lucky you are and where you live etc.

Mine is about 2 feet away from the plants on the shelf. It has a far reach though, even the plants on the floor are benefiting from it!

I'm enjoying the content you've been producing just from the short time I've been watching and now that I'm subscribed I know I will see all the great things to come.
