Help..! What if it's not pain when stepping... I have a weird sensation. when I have my knees bent, I can twirl and dorsiflex my feet however I like. but when I stretch my leg out and I try to flex my foot up, it feels like something under the base of the heel is "pulling".. feels like if I flex it more, it might rip. It feels like the bottom of baxter's nerve, but it's not in pain and it's only upon stretching.

Yes, you can especially the strengthening exercises. Foot massage may not help but strengthening to help control the foot may help. Thank you for watching!!

Your the first time someone has described my pain. I have a 40 week wait to get an appointment at my hospital but I have been suffering since August of last year. I'm no doctor but the pain you described for the Baxters Entrapment and the location are spot on. My only issue now is that squiggly lump has started to appear and becomes more noticeable as the day goes on and is white in colour. Any idea what it is? All I can say it's so painful to walk no matter what time of the day. I'm getting spasms now which are that painful, that they make me cry.

Thank you so much Doctor Andrew! This foot has been driving me crazy for about 6 weeks and the band exercise at 7:15 immediately (I mean instantly) eliminated the pain! I thought it was plantar fasciitis, but your symptom description related to be Baxter's entrapment. Initially, my pain would come and go, even while running. Sometimes I would step out of bed and it was fine, but not always. The pain had become chronic though, over the last week. I had gone through 4 sessions of EPAT Therapy and I did not have any change, but now I know why. I understand that the symptoms may reappear, but I will continue to strengthen my foot in this manner and hope the muscles and nerve return to normal permanently.

Thank you for watching this video. I’m happy to hear that the exercise helped with your symptoms. I hope that it continues to improve. The foot strengthening exercises with continue to help. Hip strengthening can also help with stability of the foot as well. I hope the best for you.

Pain in my right heel near arch not heel. Occurred after a bad chiropractor manipulated my nerve at the back of my knee in July. I tape it and wear compression socks. What could be the root problem and how do I cure this?

Yes, this could be coming from the knee you do have a nerve on the side of your knee that can cause pain on your foot. I would recommend seeing a PT to determine your location of pain with doing testing. I hope all is well with your foot and that you have a speedy recovery.

@@runningwithdr.andrewdpt9177 Thanks. I have heel pain after sitting or sleeping. When I start to walk, it hurts and dissipates. However, this did not occur until after the bad chiropractic adjustment. Is there anything homeopathically that I can do to relieve pain? I've bought and wear compression socks, muscle tape (kt tape), and use a roller. I flex the foot and raise it above my heart level before I start the day but still pain.
