Wes, some of us like you as a friend and we support what you do, it's YOUR operation. If it works for YOU, that's all that matters. YOU know your ground better than anyone else. Thanks, 👍😊
Hi Mr. P. 👋 I always watch the entire video, beginning to end, pretty much everybody's videos that I watch, I also let the commercials play all the way through as well.
Hi Wesley, I know you’re busy but it would be cool for us long time subscribers to see how many hours are on your tractors now. Keep up the great work and it’s neat to see how much has changed over the years. Diary to grain then mulch hay now back to grain
Been watching you since about 2010. I find the regen ag you are doing now very interesting and am working in that direction myself. I watched the whole video. Thank you for making them.
For the record after a minute I knew what you were doing, I was also thinking there are going to be people that believed it and for all the same reason you mentioned. I think that the world we live in today is a real life version that old fable ( The Emperors New Clothes ) I am pretty sure you are old enough to know it but most young kids today probably not. People today can’t think for themselves nor are they able to understand what they are seeing. You can have a guy that lies to your face every day, will walk away from you if you ask him a question, never takes blame for anything it’s always someone else’s fault, is willing to say or do anything to get your vote, and is on record saying he does not work for you and if you don’t believe him he will meet you outside…. And then people still vote for him! To be honest I don’t care what political party these people are from, there are good and bad people all over. A smart person does NOT vote party line but is able to pick who the best ones are. I’m still smiling about it, nice work. Steve…
That is amazing, so happy for you! lol…..Enjoy watching your channel, I used to help a farmer when I was younger in southern Ohio who you remind me of. He only had one arm though, lost one in an auger. It was amazing what a motivated one arm dude could do. It always kept me motivated. Keep up the great work and content sir. Keep speaking the truth!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Hope all your experiments give you the results your looking for. Wishing you and your family the best.
I made it to the end. I already have some of the same seed you are using, I have been saving my own seed to use from year to year and it grows an awesome crop for me every year!~
I like the way you are being a steward of the land ! For all out there the way some farmers have ruined tillable soil shows how they are Not Farmers !!
Now I know how my face gets so dirty too. I’ve been knocking out old unproductive hay quarters as well. Cover crop blend first year, canola or cereal cash crop the following season.
Those peas are a great example of why I love cover crops in a mix, if one thing doesn’t do so great you haven’t struck out because there’s a pretty good chance something on the mix is going to proliferate and produce meaningful biomass.
I'm so 5% i knew the deal within 2 minutes.😂 When someone talks trash its usually a resut of envy or jealousy. Everyone hybrid farms ro some level, i did somethings this year like was done in the 70s. You can't even trust relatives. I lost some ground this year because I helped a neighbor last fall for about 6 weeks and my cousin thought i was working for them full time and wasn't going to have time to do my own. This ia after i detailed what my plan was for seeding ground back down and continuing to do hay. The family reunion is next month, it could be fun.😁😁😁
in my area in the 1980 it was like that here . i can count the loss of 16 different farmers to retired but all but 4 are dead now . thay were replaced with 3 and 1 only farm 100 arcers . the bigger farmers had to take on more land . 3,000 to 6,000 arces.
I have been watching your videos for the last ten years and always watch from beginning to end . Great video as always Wesley . And yea the Ukraine thing was funny 😂. Knew you were trolling the trolls👍
Hey Wesley just a quick correction about what you said regarding us europeans and roundup. it's not that we don't want roundup ready stuff, it's the fact that the european union in Brussels has decided that we can't really use it, and the reasoning behind it is that it "harms the ground water reserves and the biodiversity". the amount of glyphosate we are allowed to use can almost be measured in milliliters per hectare, we want to use it, we are just not really allowed to.
It's good to see a common man finally being able to receive massive financial benefit from doing business with Ukraine. Those opportunities should not be restricted to only those that are politically connected. Good on you, Wes! 😉
Is it possible to find the crop farmers reluctant to try regenerative cropping, a narrower less expensive vertical till disk set and modify them to zero degrees? (I see some 10 and 12 feet wide VTs). Deer Country has some expensive used larger VTs. Messicks has an older vt too. The Arborists use machines like the Sennebogens to take down the urban & roadside decaying large Ash trees. A tree-work prepared excavator is a common choice (see rpa grapple - utility line clearing excavators) for clearing and piling during tree clearances.
40 to 60 bushels more. Wes if you are get paid for it then great. But if it sounds to good to be true then it likely is. We average 50 to 80 and if you gain just 40 that would be unreal. 90 to 120😮.
